When I was first tasked with creating interactive SOP's for my department my boss told me to use IAuditor because it was an easy, limited, plug and play platform. It was very simple to use but limited in almost everyway. I was able to generate an enormous amount of work quickly. Once I had created a course of 16 SOP's and training guides, I began going through the process of testing them. As I began to explore the functions more deeply and work out how to track progress in relation to our established development KPI's I ended up going down a rabbit whole of paywalled features. The worst of which was a user fee that required $5 per user per month. Add to this the additional costs to unlock needed features that would achieve our goals, the bill began to balloon. With a department of 250 employees the costs rapidly expanded into a completely unreasonable state. In the end we had to scratch that platform. I had to redo everything using a combination of Canva, MS Forms and MS Excel. Simple turned into a dead end and a lot of wasted time.
