A little something (a fellowship) to share
I am happy to share that I successfully completed my post-doctoral fellowship - The Thomas Edison Innovation Fellowship - offered by the University of Akron. This is a non-residential fellowship, which was open for researchers from all nationalities until last year. This year on, the fellowship is applicable to U.S. residents and citizens only. That makes me the last international researcher of the program 🙃. I am finding ample time to level up on my style only because my research obligations are over!

So true.
So so ill
Sorry all. I have come home from work having dizzy spells, hot and cold flushes and both my legs are aching. I think I liked enough comments to keep my 🔥 let’s hope tomorrow is a better day.

I've been there.
Midlife crisis??
I think I have hit that point in life where everyone starts to question themselves: these are my questions that keep running through my mind. - Have I been successful in my life? - Am I a good enough husband and father? - Is my career going somewhere ? - Am I leading a good life, and being a great role model for my kids? - Am I a good person, friend, colleague? - Do I try hard enough to succeed and be a leader in my field of work? - And many more thoughts as well. I’m sure there is a a lot more I could add to this list. Im sure I’m just overthinking things, but lately I’ve been asking myself these questions. I’m pretty sure we all have been there. I’m thinking of ways I can answer those questions and still second guess myself. I’m sure this will pass, but I think I’ve hit a wall and not sure how to come out of it. It’s probably me overthinking and underestimating myself and my life, but it has me slightly depressed. Just a thought, and figured I would share with my fellow friends. Let me know your thoughts.

I am having the opposite of a mid-life crisis. For me, I need to slow down, or I am going to die.
How You Should Walk Into Your Day
Every day most of us ask ourselves: “What should I work on today?” That question alone wastes energy. High performers remove that decision. They already know: Morning Health or movement Midday Money producing activity Evening Relationships or learning When your day is pre-decided, productivity becomes automatic. You don’t rise to motivation. You fall to your system.

Every day, I simply say "Let's do this!" or "Let's get stuff done!"

@Omari Heflin As a server/bartender, that actually is a lot easier than you might think. Of course, you need to be good enough to keep up.
