Need Guidance My Proposals Not Getting Views Client Side
Hi everyone,I’m back on Upwork after a 3-year gap and noticed that the Upwork have changed significantly. I recently purchased 500 Connects and started bidding on jobs, but my proposals aren’t getting many views. Could you please advise what I can do to improve visibility? Is it okay to use AI-assisted cover letters, or should I focus on improving my proposal structure and technical approach to rank better in the Best Match category? While reading your comment, a few questions came to my mind. I’m not sure if they are all relevant, so apologies in advance. 1. What are the best learning sources to prepare for Upwork skill tests or certifications? 2. Is there any way to understand or learn how the Upwork algorithm works? 3. If I submit a proposal without boosting, while others boost their proposals, is there still a chance the client will view mine? 4. Do longer proposals rank better in “Best Match,” or do shorter ones perform better? 5. After submitting a proposal, how long does it usually take for a client to review it (1–3 days, a week, etc.)? 6. If my profile is based in Pakistan, is it reasonable to charge $10–$15/hour, or should I start with $5–$6/hour? 7. Is it recommended to attach my resume to proposals, or should I avoid it?
