Question
I want to ask honestly, do you think it is right for someone who spends their time teaching, praying, and helping others grow in God to receive financial support, or should everything always be done without any income?

@Eric Markum "But at the same time, I’m in a place now where I’m being real about life. Bills don’t pay themselves. I can’t even get a car right now because of the lack of funds, and that affects my ability to even move forward and do what I need to do. So I’m not trying to make money off God. I’m just trying to understand how to walk in what He’s called me to do and still take care of my responsibilities." Brother Eric, your statement quoted above has taken me to my knees in prayer as to how best to speak to you on this. This is a very challenging position to find one's self in. I understand, I have been there and still deal with a minor form of this every month, myself. The one thing that God impressed upon my heart, and that I will ask you to "ASK YOURSELF" (you do not have to share the answer with me, in fact the answer is not for me but for your own introspect), "Are YOU so busy worrying about the bills, and the lack of money that your focus has changed from God as your provider (when it was my turn to ask myself this God said 'ME' -meaning God, Himself as my provider) to what you can manage to scrape together for yourself?" When you can honestly answer YOURSELF and GOD in regards to this, you will find one of two things! 1) You will feel convicted in your spirit and immediatately turn your focus, or ... 2) You will realize this is another one of those "BATTLES" that you can NOT fight and win by yourself because though the problems seem worldly, the source of the trouble is NOT and the result will STILL be a convicted spirit.... But now, the choice of your focus will be the BIGGER QUESTION! Please note, I am not addressing whether a called minister of the Word should get paid or not! Because if that is God's plan, HIS WILL BE DONE! God Bless You brother!
MUSIC MONDAY 5/12/26
This is the day me and my friend from LinkedIn share music together. We do it every Monday. We call it Happy Music Monday. What song have you been listening that you really like? Maybe a song that has touched you in a special way. Could be your favorite song. Any song you want to share. This is a secular song. I have been a ministry leader in Celebrate Recovery for 12 years. It's a Christ centered 12 step program addiction, any hurts, habits. My past includes 15 years of pill addiction and was completely delivered by God in 2013. This song is a reminder that we can come to Jesus just as we are. There will be no judgment. https://youtu.be/qDSC_D5C54A?si=vrZaOJd04CVY96nI

The Face of Christ by Chris Rice https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hTV7iasNUE0 This song has resonated within me since the first time I heard it. And it became a key motivation in my church's Homeless Outreach. Lyrics: He shares a room outside with a dozen other guys And the only roof he knows is that sometimes starry sky A tattered sleeping bag on a concrete slab is his bed And its too cold to talk tonight So I just sit with him instead and think How did I find myself in a better place I can't look down on the frown on the other guys face Cause when I stoop down low, look him square in the eye I get a funny feeling, I just might be dealing With the face of Christ After sixteen years in a cold, gray prison yard Somehow his heart is soft, but keeping simple faith is hard He lays his Bible open on the table next to me And as I hear his humble prayer I feel his longing to be free someday How did I find myself in a better place I can't look down on the frown on the other guys face Cause when I stoop down low, look him square in the eye I get a funny feeling, I just might be dealing With the face of Christ See you had no choice which day you would be born Or the color of your skin, or what planet you'd be on Would your mind be strong, would your eyes be blue or brown Whether daddy would be rich, or if momma stuck around at all So if you find yourself in a better place You can't look down on the frown on the other guys face You gotta stoop down low, look him square in the eye And get a funny feeling, cause you might be dealing How did I find myself in a better place I can't look down on the frown on the other guys face Cause when I stoop down low, look him square in the eye I get a funny feeling, I just might be dealing With the face of Christ With the face of Christ With the face of Christ, yeah With the face of Christ With the face of Christ With the face of Christ With the face of Christ!
Good Morning, Family
I woke up this morning amazed to learn that Jesus still teaches us today through the use of parables. I am not talking about the parables we currently see in the Gospels. I am refering to promptings of the Holy Spirit in our daily lives. Now, please understand, the mesaage I am about to share with you was NOT a dream! It was a very clear impression upon my heart and soul that I could visualize as easily as watching a show on TV. And while this was not a new experience for me, because of the recent teaching I have been sharing on the Holy Spirit and His purpose, I was much more in tune with His prompting and the message I was being given. that being said, here we go: "Do not, my beloved be in a rush to touch the anointed garment laid out before you. Be patient and wait for the Holy Spirit to guide you in God's timing. Does a bride don her wedding gown days, or even weeks before her wedding as daily wear? Will she wear that special garment to perform ordinary household chores? Or does she keep it well protected so it is not damaged, awaiting her special day? So it is with the anointing placed on our lives. Be not rushed to move into your fulfillment. While things may appear to be moving slowly to us, we must trust in God's perfect timing for our lives. Your gifts are given for a purpose, God's Purpose, not our own. And, when the Holy Spirit pushes you to that purpose, do not withdraw in fear or doubt. For that which you are called to, you shall also be equipped for. Step out in faith, secure in the knowledge that each step shall be measured and guided in power and authority. Amen
