Christian Counseling
I was called by God to be a Christian counselor. I counsel individuals on all types of struggles they are dealing with. Christian counseling is Biblically based and I am guided by the Holy Spirit. I just wanted to share with you about what I do. I focus on emotional, mental, and behavioral health. Secular counseling uses evidence-based psychological theories and techniques Draws from human-centered frameworks (CBT, psychodynamic, trauma-informed care, etc.). It avoids spiritual or religious content unless initiated by the client. Goal: symptom relief, coping skills, personal growth, and well-being 1. Helpful for many people 2. Clinically structured 3. Values neutrality Christian Counseling: Addresses emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being Integrates professional counseling methods with biblical truth Acknowledges God as healer, guide, and source of transformation Incorporates Scripture, prayer, and Christian worldview with client consent Goal: healing, growth, and identity restoration through Christ 1. Treats the whole person:mind, body, and spirit 2. Provides eternal perspective alongside practical tools 3 Anchored in hope, grace, and redemption Key Difference between Christian and secular counseling. Traditional counseling asks, “How do we manage this?” Christian counseling asks, “Who does God say you are, and how does He heal and restore?” When Christian Counseling Is Especially Helpful 1. Faith is central to your identity You want biblical guidance, not just clinical insight 1. You’re wrestling with guilt, shame, purpose, or spiritual confusion You want healing that aligns with your walk with Christ. Christian counseling doesn’t replace clinical wisdom, it redeems and aligns it with God’s truth. 2 Corinthians 3:17 “Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.”

Faith In The Hard Times
We all face times of trouble in our lives that may have us question our faith. God will test us to rely on Him for help. Our faith in God keeps us grounded knowing everything will be okay. Romans 5:3-4 ESV More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope. Here are some ways to hold strong to your faith during troublesome times: 1. Surrounding yourself with like-minded individuals, joining faith-based groups, or seeking guidance from mentors can offer support, encouragement, and accountability on your spiritual journey. 2. Engaging in acts of kindness and service helps put your beliefs into action and can lead to a deeper understanding of love and compassion. Having an attitude of gratitude by acknowledging blessings can also shift your focus and strengthen your faith. 3.Maintaining routines like prayer, meditation, and Bible reading. These practices can offer peace, clarity, and a sense of connection, even when everything else feels chaotic. 4.Leaning on a faith community, whether through shared activities, discussions, or mentorship, can provide valuable emotional and spiritual support. Sharing burdens and receiving encouragement from others who understand can make a big difference. 5. Viewing hard times not as punishment but as a crucible that strengthens faith and character can be a powerful perspective. Many believe that it's through these trials that one's faith becomes more genuine and resilient. Ultimately, enduring hard times with faith is often about trusting in God!

Ephesians 2:8-9
For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast. Grace is a free gift from God. Your faith in Christ is all you need for grace. I hear it at times people are trying to earn Grace. Many new believers dont realize the free gift once they give their life to Christ. This verse I learned about by reading the Bible. I didn't have a person to mentor me after I was saved. I was a new Christian on my own. It's important to get into the Word everyday.

Faith, Counseling, Bible, Togetherness
The community is built on Faith, understanding Scripture. Christian counseling tips, service, obedience and more. Mental health is attached to a stigma, your weak if you talk about your feelings. That is probably the biggest lie in mental health today. I spent years living that lie. When I first started have the feelings of being depressed all the time I reached out to a family member. They told me I should keep my feelings to myself. I did. Saying things like that is the worst thing you can say. I didn't say another word about how I was feeling until I attempted suicide 15 years later. I received deliverance from my bipolar, suicidal thoughts and addiction by God in 2013. Able to help you with questions to ask with someone that is struggling with anything. Faith is a must in life. Faith requires your full heart. Being faithful in reading the Bible will help you to know God more and understand exactly who He is.

Welcome
Hello. My name is Robert Gault. I am a Christian counselor and Ordained minister. I have been married for the past 11 years. I have 1 biological daughter and 2 bonus daughters. My bonus daughters come from my wife's previous marriage, but I have been I have raised them like my own since they were little. My background includes 15 years of struggles with mental health issues, suicidal thoughts and addiction. On December 28,2013 I fell off a roof and suffered a traumatic brain injury with a severe brain bleed. The Dr's gave me no chance of survival. God saved my life. God delivered me from my oppression I previously talked about. I have been symptom free and sober since the accident 12 years ago. God changed me completely from who I was before the accident. God called me to be a Christian counselor and I graduated with a doctorate degree in Christian counseling. I created this community for those who want to talk about faith, their struggles, the Bible, and whatever else you would like to talk about. This is a safe place.
