For almost five years, I’ve been searching for the “perfect” fragrance. Every time I order something new, the anticipation builds and so does the dopamine, only to end up disappointed most of the time. I’ve told myself so many times, “The perfect fragrance doesn’t exist. This is a game you can’t win.” I had finally given up. But a few weeks ago, I found myself in a high-end fragrance store, with almost no desire to even try anything. The sales associate convinced me to give Ricordo a chance. It was an epiphany. Finally. This was it! It’s such a refined, polished, effortlessly appealing fragrance. Everyone seems to love it. The projection is excellent, and so is the longevity. It doesn’t overwhelm you or scream for attention, yet somehow gives you everything you could want. 10/10.

Taking this one for a spin. This one smells great in the air. At first smell I get a mix of Dior Sauvage Elixir and Creed Aventus Absolute. It’s a deep rich smell. This is a versatile 4 season scent. Office safe / casual or formal / daytime or evening. This scent is worth adding to a collection. Get your nose on it to smell when you can. 8/10

Sorry friends about a delayed review on this one. Did try one of my latest decant and here are my views on it. Vulcan Feu: When Mango Goes Nuclear 🥭💥 Rating: 6.4/10 The real fruit bomb. French Avenue (2025 launch) Notes: Mango, lemon, ginger, rhubarb | jasmine, pink pepper, violet, praline | tonka, cedarwood, ambergris, moss The Reality Check This hits like a mango smoothie explosion and doesn't apologize. For 3-4 hours straight, my nose was held hostage by tropical fruit salad. I could get those hints of Ginger which made it less cloying and rhubarb did add its tangy citrusy vibe.I could also get the sweetness of praline adding to the mango. It's got Khamrah Qahwa-level projection, but sometimes nuclear power isn't a blessing when you're projecting liquid candy. Performance: Beast mode projection (maybe too beast?) for 4 hours, then decently loud skin scent. 8 hours plus total. The base notes of moss and cedarwood did show their glimpse at the end. The Problem: According to me, this one leans feminine-unisex and turned out to be way too sweet for my liking. I haven't tried the OG, the God of Fire but I'm surprised if that one is just as sweet. Bottom Line: If you want to smell like a tropical resort gift shop exploded on you, this is your jam. For everyone else? I may sound a bit too negative on this one, but trust me, if I was on a beach vacation in the Caribbean or Mexico, perhaps I wouldn't mind it as much. 6.4/10 - Well-made fruit bomb, wrong target audience and perhaps not the right occasion (me). P.S. - French Avenue, we get it, you can make loud fragrances. Now show us subtle ones! 😅

I've been looking for a scent like this for the past few years and finally found it. It is similar to Platinum Egoiste, but more subtle, less green, more soapy which is what I was looking for since Egoiste was a bit too loud for my taste. Longevity: I can still smell it 10 hours later. It’s not overpowering, not loud but it smells great. If you want to smell clean, well-groomed, and gentlemanly yet different from others, this is for you. My wife loves it.

What a gem! This is Bleu de Chanel, but more for business occasion. It's more greenish rather than blue/fruity, less sweet, more mature. Perfectly blended.
