Skool Update: 500 Members and My First $1K Collected
Once again, I’ve been spurred into action by another new feature from Sam Ovens. Every time something launches, it gives me the push I need to stop tweaking and start executing. If you would like to read my previous update its here in GWE and its also in Skoolers but I can post in the comments if anyone wants to read and cannot access !: https://www.skool.com/evelyn/200-members-243-new-subs-and-still-on-the-9-hobby-plan?p=9ef28b02 Progress has been a bit slower than I’d hoped, I still don’t have a working ads account 😅 but momentum is definitely building. Here’s where things stand Progress Stats to date: - 1,111 new email subscribers added - 523 total Skool members - Upgraded to Skool Pro for pixel tracking + auto DMs - Launched a freemium model + 1 paid beta tier - 16 lifetime members joined since launch yesterday so far - $1,044 cash collected A lot of my growth has come from digital bundles, referrals, and Skool Discovery ... solid proof that consistent networking still beats waiting for perfect systems. When the new Skool tiers dropped, I decided to launch before I was “ready.”I created a beta tier with lifetime access, promoted it with just one Skool post and one email to my waitlist. The course is still a skeleton version right now, but I know exactly where it’s headed. Why I Chose a Lifetime model: After reviewing my customer journey and doing the math, I realized my customer lifetime value would be better served by offering a one off cost instead of going straight to higher recurring tiers. That idea was later confirmed by @Evelyn Weiss during a GWE Q&A, which gave me the confidence to double down on that direction. Tiers don't have the one off cost so I will need to adjust billing somehow or switch to another option but its ok for now. What I have learned: Don’t overcomplicate things. Right now, I’m focusing on one tier and making sure it converts consistently before I layer in anything else. Once it’s working, I’ll likely introduce a premium tier.
