IN CASE YOU MISSED BIBLE STUDY
Tonight's passage focused on David, and how he approached battles. We all fight battles every day, often on multiple fronts. Here is the scripture we discussed and some key points for reflection: 1 Chronicles 14:13-15:1 “Once more the Philistines raided the valley; so David inquired of God again, and God answered him, “Do not go directly after them, but circle around them and attack them in front of the poplar trees. “As soon as you hear the sound of marching in the tops of the poplar trees, move out to battle, because that will mean God has gone out in front of you to strike the Philistine army." So David did as God commanded him, and they struck down the Philistine army, all the way from Gibeon to Gezer. So David’s fame spread throughout every land, and the Lord made all the nations fear him. After David had constructed buildings for himself in the City of David, he prepared a place for the ark of God and pitched a tent for it.” - What is the first thing David does when facing a battle? HE ASKS GOD WHAT TO DO. The victory is CERTAIN. The victory is GOD'S. By asking Him how to approach the battle, David claims the victory for the Lord, and then honors him by building a special place to house God's ark in his city. - How do you ask and receive answers from God? Does He speak to you through other people? Through symbols? Through gut feelings? Through whispers? Is there a way He is trying to speak to you that you're ignoring?? Pray in EXTREME specifics, and pray He opens you up to receiving His response in whatever way He delivers it. - Are you holding back out of fear that embodying His power will force people out of your life? Are you afraid God will strike fear into others if you invite His power to strike down your enemies? Those who respect him with a healthy fear and a reverent love will not fear you. Rather, they will be drawn to you. Those cast out will be removed from your life to increase your peace and prosperity. He will provide rest from the strife they have caused in your life and PROVIDE ALL THAT YOU NEED TO BUILD AN EMPIRE IN HIS HONOR!

GHOST OF YOUR PAST SELF...
What does your past self think of the person you are today? And more importantly What would your future self say about how you’re living right now? In this episode of the XV Live Series, we dive into the idea of the Ghost of Your Past Self. The habits you formed. The patterns you built. The emotions you never fully dealt with. We talk about how growth doesn’t come from pretending your past didn’t happen. It comes from facing it. Forgiving it. And learning from it. This conversation explores mental health, discipline, faith, and personal responsibility. We talk about depression. Routine. Structure. And why your habits today are quietly shaping the life you will live tomorrow. We break down the idea of creating an ideal life Then reverse engineering it. What kind of habits would that person have? How would they react under pressure? How would they respond emotionally? What would they say no to? Sometimes the hardest work isn’t building something new. It’s letting go of old versions of yourself that no longer serve you. This episode is for anyone who feels stuck. Anyone who feels like they are carrying weight from their past. Anyone who wants to stop reacting emotionally and start responding intentionally XV Shift 90 is built around this exact idea. Helping you align your daily habits with the life you actually want to live. Helping you become the person your past self needed And your future self will be proud of. If you’re ready to stop running from who you were, and start building who you’re becoming. This conversation is for you.

Great conversation and topic. This hit home for me. Focusing on and forgiving yourself instead feeling shame and put down by others or even yourself has been a mental strength adventure for me. There are many things my present self wouldn’t accept or be proud of from my past versions of me. On the flip side it created who grew into today. . Looking back at your life with compassion and realizing you are very different then 20 years ago, 5 years ago, or even a year ago shows your doing the mirror work and looking at the “ugly” side within and acknowledging it. Not to belittle or judge but to notice and break a pattern that isn’t serving your greatest potential or future version of you. Believing you can change and grow once you fully take accountability and decide to show up differently. Thank you ✨
