Hi Jennie! Thank you for inviting me to the group! I’m Sarah. My spiritual awakening started right after Covid and I was drawn to Reiki. I’m now a Reiki Master. I have always been an empath since I was a small child. I’ve struggled with absorbing the energy and emotions of those around me - and even the heavy energy I feel from watching the news. As a child I had an experience seeing a spirit (even once with my dog who had passed away). This scared me, and I tried to shut it down. I frequently have feelings of just knowing something before it happens, and I have experiences that I know are not from this earthly realm. I am drawn to animals and nature (specifically trees). After some major life changes and an ADHD diagnosis (at 49!), I feel like I am finally coming into myself. Over the past few months I have felt a strong pull (unlike anything I’ve felt before) to start connecting deeper and having more awareness of my own soul, Spirit, and my team of light. So, I have been trying to actively connect with like minded people so that I can learn and reach a deeper level of connection and understanding. I’m excited about this journey I’m on, and I can’t wait to see where it leads me! So happy to be part of this little community!
