Quote for Today
“Setting goals is the first step in turning the invisible into the visible.” Tony Robbins This is another one from the momentum app. It's a free plug in that you can add to chrome- it really helps me not to get distracted whenever i have to open a new tab. And you get a lovely picture and a nice quote each day. You can also add in your goal for the day. There's a paid version too, but I've always managed fine just with the free version.
2024 goals
Hi all, excited to be here! Intro post and questions for you. Frustrated and burnt-out corporate employee, manager, business owner – I’ve been all three. After 15 years in big corporate and 5 years as an entrepreneur and small business owner I'm now going back to my psychology roots and launching a coaching business. I know from being a business builder and owner how lonely and isolating it can be. It's brilliant to have a community to interact and learn with. My aim in 2024 is to 'eat my own dog food' as one of my old managers used to say, and as such I'm taking the time to follow the coaching principles I teach. First up - reviewing my values for 2024 and setting some small and meaningful goals and habits - e.g - being authentic in all the posting/communications i do and even simple things (for my 'order' value) like doing my to do list each morning before i even check my emails. What are your processes for 'New Year Resolutions' (I hate the term but the concept of fresh start is a good one). Amy

Hi Amy- really resonate with your post! I'm an ex-CEO who burnout before finally leaving (after 14years) to pursue a long-held dream of running my own coaching business. My new habits this yr involve not checking my phone before 8.30am- it's been a game changer so far!
to do it now, or do it later? that is the question...
you hand full of beautiful souls... how's everyone doing today? someone pls send me back to my studies, feeling I'm about to fall in procrastination 🤪

Maybe ask yourself what's the reason you're likely to procrastinate?

@Zac Solipsism My new habit is to make sure I completely shut my PC down every night- this helps me be more disciplined with keeping too many tabs open!
