This week's training challenge will be all about a 'leave it' - Part 1- Can you place food on the floor without yur dog going to eat the food? See 'Puppy Training School' videos to learn how to get started. Look at 'week 5' and scroll to 7 minutes and 48 seconds where you will see how to start training this. Have a go - if your dog can already leave a piece of food that's placed on the floor, post a video or a photo! Part two of the leave it challenge will be posted on Wednesday to give you some time with this. Any questions or obstacles, please comment below!

Morning everyone! Just a reminder to you all that you are all doing fantastic with your pups! Every puppy is unique, with different breeding, genetics, personalities, learning history and lifestyle so please don't compare yourself and your pup's current issues and training progress to others that you might see! That other dog walking down the street looking 'perfect' will probably have training issues in other areas that we can't see! Training is a journey, can feel like it takes forever but one day you will notice that your dog is doing miles better than 3 months ago! You're doing awesome, dont beat yourself up on the challenging days - it's ok to give yourself and your pup a break! Have a lovely day!

It was lovely to see new faces in the call, and to have a relaxed talk about your puppy and puppy dilemmas. Last night we discussed some 'is this normal' questions, or 'what should i do if...' questions, and even 'should I be allowing my dog to do this, will it become an issue...? Top question goes to Scrumpy's parents who asked if it's an issue for Scrumpy to lie on his dads head!😆 We also spoke about: - Chasing cats in the house and what we need to do about this - 'My dog is wild in the evening' questions - what to do if the pup wants to play, but it's evening, the kids are in bed and ignoring it escalates to barking It was also commented on how much it is a relief to see that 'im not alone with my crazy puppy' If you want to join a call to discuss your puppy, i'll be in here wednesday evenings at 8pm!
