Today I was scrolling through my old videos and found this! I'm all inspired to get this Journal out and do some creative journaling! First, I'll have to find it - I hope it's here at the cottage and not in storage! I made this Journal by dissecting an old book and reusing only the cover. I sewed all new pages in of all shapes and sizes and began a little memory journal. Would you like to join me and do a creative journal post this week? I thought I'd share a little bookbinding/journal-making tutorial so you'd get an idea of what I create. This is not me, but one of the tutorials I watched in the early days of making. I'll see if I can find a picture of the journals I made similar to this.

You may ask what on earth is a "Glue Book"? Watch this little video below to find out. I still have this precious little book. I think after I may use it for this year's mini art journal - It feels amazing in my hand because it's small but carries weight!

How do you feel when you hear the words BE STILL ? the word hustle means : to push or force one's way; jostle or shove. to be aggressive, especially in business or other financial dealings. I’ve come to the conclusion that I don’t want to hustle, but I want to succeed. What about you? Do you feel like you don’t have time to be still right now because you are in a building season? Are you working on your community feel like you can’t rest. I’m reminded of the story of the tortoise and the hare. Be kind to yourself and remember today that hustling doesn’t always transfer to success! Trust the process today and take time to rest and enjoy moments with friends, family and nature, whatever it is that brings you joy.
