if we were a tree...nature as reflection
greetings everyone. i or we believe nature - wild and untouched - holds deep wisdom and we humans can learn so much from it; through reflection about our own nature and our relationship to others, 1:1, in a group, community, society etc. i draw parallels from it and apply it personally. so i have a few questions that i need help with and would like to ask the next days maybe in separate threads. but before that i share a playful question from another group and ask you: If you were part of a tree, which part would you want to be? let me know... blessings

@Louise Woodford i just cared, thats all🙏🏽 so your strawberries and the trees are going to have a symbiotic relationship, is that it?

@Louise Woodford how did you come to the idea to plant strawberries around the tree? i have never seen or thought of that.
Q.: weed?
hello everyone. i do not get the idea of weed/weeding? i guess i never have fully... nature sees that different than humans or not? cause what is a weed and what not? how does nature take care of that? can someone please explain...🙏🏽

@Jim Flach that is so interesting... thank you. and good to know that my feelings about the plants is not wrong. i even believe a bit further, that they would never steal (unless out of survival reasons, or perhaps sickness or similar?). and that there is like a mutual agreement between them, so there is not even the need to ask the other plants to share, as each plant gives freely and therefore each plant can also "take" freely (unless there is a mutual disagreement:)
Being pro active (climate change)
One of my personal goals is to plant a minimum of 300 trees each year and 10,000 in my Lifetime.( Which has already been achieved). In one five year period I didn't manage to plant any, Which I regret , and this year 3,000 have gone in the ground. So my aim is solid, but flexible and the more people who are planting trees, the more the climate stability locally increases and more wildlife habitat and diversity returns, and natural balance follows

@Phillip Greenwood yes must be. i like willows...goat willow specially? im not sure about the difference... how many of the 300 seeds you plant survive/become a tree?

@Phillip Greenwood only 10-20% or less for the deers:( bless the deers, i love them, you know that;) 80-90% that is quite good. and how do you take care of all those trees/do they need much care?
Q.: seeds...
and here comes 1 of my questions: lets say i want to plant fruit-trees and i got some seeds. is there a way to determine which seed will open, which will produce fruits, good fruits, best fruits etc?

@Phillip Greenwood have you heard of seed-bank/s where they keep old or original seeds?
Indoor GROW/Nursey
Share your pictures, this is mostly microgreens but the shelves with lighting : mostly strip lights with a daylight halogen or led at 6500k lumens (daylight bulb) to mimic the sun and the red light is a full spectrum light which can even grow them to more maturing flowering stage. If you want tips on the best indoor set up, message me. But a simple sunny window is ideal. Main thing is the soils warm, they are out the wind and the sun / artificial light helps the, become strong and not leggy
