🧦 Socktober 2025 is coming! 🧦
We’re so excited to have you here for our 2nd Socktober Knit-Along, where we’ll be knitting socks together using ZaneteKnits patterns. Thank you for joining us—it means so much to have this community come together again! Last year, we had about 200 entries, and it was so much fun. We can’t wait to see what this year brings. Use the comments to let us know which pattern you’ll be working on, to chat and cheer each other on, and share your works-in-progress and completed pairs of socks. Projects that have already been started are absolutely welcome, as long as they’re ZaneteKnits socks. This is a space to connect, inspire each other, and celebrate the joy of sock knitting. 💛 Read below for all the details about how to join. It starts on October 1st – just 2 weeks from now! ✨ How to join: - Pick any ZaneteKnits sock pattern (1 or more, wips are welcome too) If you do not have a pattern, feel free to use the 20% discount code SOCKTOBER25 on any of our sock patterns. The discount is valid until October 5th. - Knit your sock project from October 1st to 31st - Register your project on Ravelry and share your progress in our Ravelry forum or Skool group. ✨ The rules: - Knit socks from a ZaneteKnits pattern (test knits are excluded) - Have fun - If you want to enter the prize draws, add your project to Ravelry, link it to the pattern and share your completed pair of socks on one of our party spots (Ravelry or Skool) ✨ What’s coming: - A brand-new sock pattern released on September 24th - right in time for Socktober - 3 previously released sock patterns - Rhubarb and Custard Socks, Vaidava Memories Socks, and Porto Memories Socks will be available in Spanish, German, Dutch, Danish, Norwegian, French, Portuguese and English. (You will get an update notification if you have already purchased it on Ravelry.) - A free sock pattern is also available! - Prizes:

@Sarah Brooks I love how these turned out 😍
Finally reached calmer waters
After all the twists and turns, I’ve finally reached calm waters, on both socks! 🧦😅 This color combo really tested my patience (and my sanity), and it’s my first time doing this kind of heel. I worked bit by bit on both socks, learned on one, fixed it on the other. The “easy” part is taking forever, but I’ll get there! Hopefully both will be done by the end of October… and yes, I’m definitely making this pattern again in another color combo! 🎨

Those are gorgeous. I love how they’re turning into bats too
Needing help again please Freshness socks
Working through Row 1 of heel flap: I have worked across the top of foot in established pattern across my 36 stitches. Now at this point the pattern says to “leave MC and from here continue with CC, knit to gusset m A, closing the gaps….” But if I do that I end up with a solid CC line on the side of my sock and it wrecks the pattern (see right hand needle). Should I not continue chart pattern to m A?? Or will this somehow work out. I want to follow the pattern instructions but my gut instinct is telling me to do the pattern until the marker. I haven’t found an errata.

@Dri Kool I did buy the VKL pattern and so far am happily working on it. I don’t think I will have any trouble with this one because of the excellent video tutorial. Being my very first toe up sock (the freshness one) probably just added to my frustration. But I am grateful to have you chiming in whenever I’ve asked for help 🩷😊 Hopefully I can post my progress by the end of today on VKL socks.

@Zanete Hussain that helps immensely, thank you.
Dynamism dynamite!
I am having such a ball knitting these up! The colours are like magic and the pattern is to die for. Unfortunately, I’m not getting much done around the house and when I am, I’m thinking of knitting socks! This is my progress so far!
