@Wiebke Buschmann you don’t need a steek. The purling gets rhythmic after a few rounds.
The Tawus Cardigan is now out with a step-by-step Classroom course
Tawus is the Arabic word for peacock. The name came from the lace motifs at the top of the yoke, which reminded me of a peacock tail. It is a sport weight lace cardigan using a top-down and seamless construction, which means you can try it on as you go. 😍 The upper yoke has more elaborate lacework that asks for your full attention, and there will be moments where it feels tricky. But it does click into place, and from there the lower body changes into a much simpler lace. There is a full step-by-step course available here in the Classroom that walks you through everything step by step. The pattern is available at zaneteknits.com/patterns, and because we just launched our new website, it's available for 20% less, along with all other self-published patterns, when using code WEB26. Newsletter subscribers, check today's newsletter for your exclusive code. 🎁 Offer expires end of day 10th of May, 23:59 BST and if you get any trouble with the code, please get in touch before completing the transaction as discounts can't be applied after the fact.

@Sabrina Choupi beautiful colour!
Finally blocked!
I started this when Clue 3 came out, and procrastinated for three weeks with blocking but it is done. It is an unholy mix of wool and alpaca woolen, crepe twist and superwash spun yarns in various cominations of lace, sock, sport, dk and worsted weights. Works well enough, 100% from stash…

@Bogong Moth are you Australian? I had a big Bogong moth chilling on the inside of my flyscreen door the other day. He was a beauty. 🌸😍

@Bogong Moth ohh I’m near Shepparton. And I spend week days in Castlemaine where my son goes to school.
Query about arm shaping
Can anyone help explain how to do this armhole shaping? I am working flat, start shaping with 92 stitches. I am probably overthinking it but how do I shape both sides if I am only casting off on right side of work? 🤯 Cast off stitches in each side (cast off stitches at the beginningof the row) as follows:Cast off 2 stitches on every other row 1-2-2-2-2-2 times, then cast off 1 stitch on every other row1-1-1-3-3-5 times and finally 1 stitch every 4th row 4-5-5-6-5-5 times = 68-72 (I am doing 2nd size) Thank you in advance

A Change of plans for the MYAL Virtual Fashion Show
Hello my lovely MYAL knitters 🧶 I need to share a change of plan with you, and I want to be honest about why. It has been a difficult few days for me and I have been quite affected. Those of you who follow me on Instagram will very likely now what I am referring to. Right now, I am not in the right place to host a live celebration the way I planned. And I do not want that to take away from what this event was meant to be: a celebration of YOU and all the work you have done. For many of you, this was your first all-over colourwork sweater, your first steek, your first time trying something out of your comfort zone. And that deserves to be celebrated properly, not under a dark cloud. So here is what I would love you to do instead. Please reply to this thread with: ❤️ your favourite photo of your Rujuu Sweater, whether it is a WIP or FO. ✨ 3 words that describe your Rujuu knitting experience 🤔 One thing that surprised you (a challenge or a win) 💡 One thing you would do differently next time We will celebrate together here, on Skool, and I promise I will be cheering for each and every one of you. Thank you for your patience with me this week. I am so proud of what you have all made. 🤍
