Monday plans and beyond, what's on your agenda?
With a new week upon us, I'm curious what everyone else is doing. My Monday is going to be spent computer-shopping. The rest of the week will hopefully be spent creating content for my communities. After spending the weekend fighting my computer to edit video, I have concluded that I have to go laptop shopping. Sadly, I need to get a new machine that has more processing power, more memory and more hard drive space. My current computer was not designed for video editing, and I'm going to burn it up if I keep making it work so hard to do a jobit was never intended for. Wish me luck in finding an affordable machine that will do the job effectively...

Gardening Season is inbound... What are you planting this year?
With March upon us, gardening season will be starting for many. Around here, mid-March is usually when we start thinking about which plants we need to start. This list usually includes things like our Brassicas, such as cabbage, broccoli, and cauliflower. We don't do "exotics" like kale or kohlrabi because they aren't things we eat here. Our tomato plants are also usually on this list of pre-starts. We do this so we have time to harden them off before temperatures get stable enough before they can go into the ground. During this time, we also prepare our soil amendments, like our calcium by powdering our winter eggshells, and our nitrogen booster that we make from our saved coffee grounds. What's your March gardening to-do list look like? Drop your plans in the comments below. I'm curious to see who is doing what 😁

I have 12 raised beds up and a plot - pretty well soil. Berries roam free but I pruned them well. I’ll share plans soon for feedback x

Hello - I'm Sandra and two years ago my husband and me bought a small house with a big plot of land. The plan is to live as self sufficient as possible ( even though we're only 5km away from the nearest city 🤣) Because of WORK we haven't made big progress but planning to change this this year. Starting a huge vegetable garden... Let's see how it goes!
