Helloooo 😃
Hi everyone my name is Nasmia. I live in France. I’m currently learning English and I want to improve my pronunciation. That’s quite challenging but I know that we will manage to do it together. Happy to join this community. Have a nice day 💫

Hi @Nasmia Nas 😄😄
🌍 What’s Your Mother Tongue? 👀
Quick question for everyone here… I’m guessing most of us (maybe everyone except @Sal Di Giallonardo 😄) are not native English speakers. So I’m curious.... What’s your mother tongue? Drop it in the comments 👇 Let’s see how global this community really is 🌎✨

@Sal Di Giallonardo We'll arrive at Bari airport, and once we arrive in Bari, we’ve decided to go first to Ostuni, and after that we’ll visit Alberobello, because there’s a beautiful valley called the Itria Valley, and we’d really like to visit it.After that, we’re planning to go to Lecce, because it’s a beautiful city with a lot of famous places to see. We’re hesitant to visit Brindisi because, according to other travelers, there aren’t many noteworthy places to see there. Also can you give me some advice about my trip please? 😁😁😁🥰

@Pradeep Jayatilaka With my parents when I was younger.😄 But I am still struggling with my English...🥴
Don’t learn only half the word!
Learning a word in English is not just about meaning. It is also about sound. 🎵🎸🥁 Take the word record: /ˈrekɔːrd/ as a noun /rɪˈkɔːrd/ as a verb Same spelling. Different stress. Different pronunciation. If you do not learn how a word sounds, you are only learning half of it. If you don’t learn the sound, you don’t really own the word. Watch my short video and tell me if you agree! 👍

I really like your advice. Thanks!
Wednesday Dad joke…😂
Here’s a funny pronunciation twist: tearable and terrible sound very close, so the joke plays on that little difference. - tearable = something you can tear - terrible = very bad English is full of tiny sound changes that can completely change the meaning — and sometimes even create a dad joke 😄 Did this joke sound tearable… or just terrible? 👀😂 Let me know if you liked it!
