51 contributions to English Pronunciation Lab
๐ŸŽ Free resource โ€” just for you.
I just finished putting together something for you! ๐ŸชžItโ€™s called The Daily TH Mirror Guide: a 2-minute morning routine that fixes one of the most common pronunciation problems in English. The TH sound. ๐Ÿ‘… Most learners either: โ€ข Say S instead โ†’ โ€œsinkโ€ instead of โ€œthinkโ€ โŒ โ€ข Say T instead โ†’ โ€œtankโ€ instead of โ€œthankโ€ โŒ โ€ข Say D instead โ†’ โ€œdisโ€ instead of โ€œthisโ€ โŒ This guide shows you exactly where to place your tongue, how to test your airflow and how to drill the difference in 2 minutes every morning. Tape it to your bathroom mirror. Practice every day. Let me know what you think andโ€ฆhow it goes tomorrow morning! ๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿ“ฅ Download it here: https://thsoundwithsal.my.canva.site/ And if you want to go deeper โ€” the full Consonant Arena is waiting for you inside the Lab. Every sound explained, drilled and trained.

@Sal Di Giallonardo valuable!
๐Ÿ‘ A Big Thanks to Sal Di
I want to give a shout-out to @Sal Di Giallonardo for helping me improve my English and pronunciation. As an engineer and lecturer, I often need to explain technical ideas in English. Clarity in speaking is very important when delivering lectures. Before studying with Sal, I sometimes knew the words but wasn't sure how to pronounce them correctly. His method gave me a system. Learning IPA and phonetics helped me decode words instead of trying to memorize pronunciations randomly. I feel that I have become much more independent because now I can look up a word and understand how it should be pronounced. Sal's approach is clear, structured, and extremely useful for anyone who needs English for work or professional communication. I'm still learning, but I have already improved a lot. Thank you, Sal, for sharing your knowledge and making the learning process so practical and effective.

@Ricardo Silva welcome to the lab!
๐Ÿšจ Most English learners are not really learning sounds!
And thatโ€™s exactly why: โŒ you mispronounce words โŒ you struggle to understand natives โŒ you freeze when speaking fast English English is not a language of letters. It's a language of SOUND PATTERNS. ๐ŸŽง Native speakers donโ€™t process:โžก๏ธ โ€œW-E-D-N-E-S-D-A-Yโ€ They hear:โžก๏ธ /หˆwenzdeษช/ Thatโ€™s the difference. The moment you stop reading English like your native languageโ€ฆand start TRAINING YOUR EAR for soundsโ€ฆeverything changes: โœ… listening improves โœ… pronunciation becomes clearer โœ… fluency feels more natura lโœ… confidence grows faster This is why we focus so much on phonetics and pronunciation awareness inside the English Pronunciation Lab. Because fluency is not memorizing more vocabulary. Itโ€™s hearing English differently. ๐Ÿ‘‡ Letโ€™s make this practical: Write ONE English word in the comments that still confuses your pronunciation or listening. Iโ€™ll reply with the correct pronunciation or phonetic explanation.
๐Ÿšจ Most English learners are not really learning sounds!

@Sal Di Giallonardo thanks for this. Love this "English is not a language of letters. It's a language of SOUND PATTERNS." I'm starting to think about English differently thanks to you.

๐Ÿ”ฅ Founding member rate closes tonight!
hหˆรฆpiห sหˆสŒndหŒeษช! The $17/month founding rate closes tonight at midnight. Monday it becomes $27. No exceptions. ๐ŸŽ“ Quick pronunciation tip while I have you: Did you know that in English, the letter โ€œtโ€ is not always pronounced /t/? Say these words out loud: โ€ข butter ๐Ÿงˆ โ€ข water ๐Ÿ’ง โ€ข better โ€ข little In natural spoken English the t in the middle of these words becomes a soft, fast tap โ€” almost like a /d/. This is called the flap T โ€” and itโ€™s one of the reasons native speakers sound fast and fluid. Most learners never learn this. They keep saying a hard /t/ and wonder why they sound stiff. This is exactly what we train inside the Lab. The sounds nobody teaches you. The rules nobody explains. ๐ŸฅŠ For $17/month you get: โ€ข 3 live sessions/week โ€ข Full classroom โ€ข Session recordings โ€ข WhatsApp exercises with personal feedback โ€ข Direct access to me ๐Ÿ˜ฒ Oh my godโ€ฆthatโ€™s a lot! ๐Ÿ‘‰ Click the link and join now before it's gone: https://www.skool.com/sals-fluency-payground-3674/plans Sunday at midnightโ€ฆgone. ๐Ÿ‘€ Letโ€™s unlock your voice together โค๏ธ Sal ๐Ÿ’ช
