Congrats!!! What a wonderful accomplishment 🎉
Friday check in 10/16/26
Man what a week. I’ve been fighting a bug all week. Plus a rash that’s been bothering me. Higher fever and feeling weak. However that didn’t stop me from getting in hydration and movement daily. I did listen to my body and rest a little more than normal. Looking to really push next week. Get back to my early morning workouts. Just reminding myself there’s always a way.

Adapt and overcome. Good job listening to your body and scaling back when you needed a minute to recover. Can’t wait to see what you accomplish next week!

Been in a tough place mentally. But that aside- working on goals. Fenway is coming up shortly. This weekend, I’ll either be training at a local college or at a reservoir with stairs. One day at a time. Thankful for the community.

Nutrition fell off the rails Monday and Tuesday. Got it back together Wednesday and finished the week strong. I’ve managed to move my body each day and find ways to safely challenge myself. For the weekly “try something new”, I did some chair workouts from YouTube with weighted wrist weights. Let me say, my shoulders were screaming! Happy Fri-YAY! Have a great weekend everyone 😊

@Chris Morrissey I never expected 1lb wrist weights to feel so heavy 😅
80%?!?!?
I went to PT and they tested my good leg and my surgery leg to gauge the imbalance of the two. Most people who had my procedure are around 40-50% of their good legs strength on the surgical leg this far out. I MEASURED AT 80%!!!! Only a 20% imbalance!!! Still a long way to go to get the muscle and tendons on the same page, but I’m so proud of my training and commitment. Taking my supplements every dang day (liquid multi, fish oil, collagen, creatine, bovine colostrum, magnesium) and adding peptides when my body needed it. There’s a light at the end of the tunnel and I am impatiently moving toward it! Woohoo!

@Matt Flexer not yet, but they’re ready to amp up my PT and begin some “pre running” exercises. My left leg has also been neglected from lack of exercise so there’s some overall weakness factored in. We’re working on some functional stuff too, like being able to go down the stairs lol
