Love This Sidekick Tutorial!
I've always loved throwing sidekicks but I'm definitely not the best with it. Scott Adkins is the ultimate badass martial arts stuntman that played Yuri Boyka in Undisputed and has, in my opinion, some of the best kicks in the WORLD. This is his breakdown of the sidekick and already I've realized two mistakes I was making in my technique. This is also uploaded into the classroom under Beginner Striking.

@Rajesh Nair this is my take on it and how I practice it traditionally, after our discussion on sharing videos of certain kicks, •Posture •High knee before chambering •Rotation of rare foot •How I use it, to intercept https://youtube.com/shorts/mO8agntmGUs?si=YpRvtls6dteNRMaQ https://youtube.com/shorts/AQP3u3JbJq0?si=ceQ7w2kJRXt2Ei3w
Monday Motivation: Any Jackie Chan Fans here?
Happy Monday everyone! Any Jackie Chan fans here? I'm a pretty big one, especially for how mixes his acrobat stunts with comedy. But more importantly his martial arts movements is some of the best, and dare I say ninja like of all! I wanted to share a very cool scene from an old movie of his called "Wheels on Meals" showcasing his morning training routine with his costar Yuen. It gets me pumped to train when I see how they get. What do you guys think?

Tornado Kick Update!
So I’ve been working on my tornado kick since the last time I shared. Biggest lessons I’m taking away: - having coordination of the steps moving forward - Being strong with single leg jumping - Turning my hips over more in the kick Still not perfected but I’m continuing to push it. Most of all everything comes from repetition- start small, build small wins and start putting it all together. I’d love to know. What moves or fitness challenges are you working on?

Live Kickboxing Call Rescheduled
Hey all, Unfortunately I had to reschedule our live kickboxing call as I hurt my neck last night at my MMA training doing a takedown and the impact pinched a nerve that hurt my neck and made my arm go numb. Pretty scary at the moment, but after a few minutes I was able to get feeling back. At this point, I've mostly recovered but there is still slight tightness so I'm going to rest it for a few days. Really bummed I couldn't do this call with you but will get to it next week! See you guys then.
