I love your last 2 questions. So much to be thankful for. It’s been a challenging year for us (foundation with 14 rescue horses) with a couple of injuries (horses that is) and also an amazing and beautiful one (we offer horse experience retreats in the middle of the rainforest) as the horses blow my mind again and again as they know exactly what to do, how to move in, when to teach and when to hold space - to give the person that deep shift or feeling they may not even know they needed. And me, all the time! My highlight was our latest rescue horses Roncador (he has a giant knee from chronic (old) septic arthritis). It took him a month to feel safe enough to eat from my hand. And he moved in close to breathe on a client…after a few moments with her eyes closed (huge for her in itself) she opened her eyes, tears streaming down her face and said “just for a moment, I felt really good - and like maybe there was hope of feeling good again.” Goosebumps! He is small, quiet, subtle - and an incredible healer!!! Celebrating him here with you all. Thank you.
