🌱 2 Minutes. One Mission. Infinite Impact. 🥦
https://youtu.be/i287o1eOVS8?feature=shared What if your grocery list could rewrite your health story? .... this simple question is the genesis of our wellness community. In just 2 minutes, this video captures the soul of our movement: Our Food is Medicine Community. It’s not just about kale and quinoa—it’s about reclaiming power, dignity, and joy through every bite. 🍎 We’re not waiting for perfect conditions. We’re building real-world solutions: - Fresh produce prescriptions for families in need - Local partnerships that nourish entire neighborhoods - Data-driven care that treats food as foundational—not optional This is what happens when community, compassion, and clinical insight collide. And guess what? You’re already part of it. 🎯 Your challenge today: Watch the video. Share one moment that moved you. Then invite a friend who could benefit from joining our community—someone who’s ready to turn groceries into healing, and connection into strength. Let’s keep the momentum rolling. Because when food becomes medicine, community becomes unstoppable.

I followed ‘Dense’ wholefoods vegan diet for 15 years. It made me ill in the end because of the toxicity of plants (which is to protect plant life from being ingested.) I am a nutritionalist and researched diet over the last 5 years.Due to body types, there is: no such thing as diet being standard, It depends on the individuals functionality as to what benefits their body best. Having been on a vegan for 15 years and eating plants with the occasional wild caught fish I had to abandon the diet. I am currently on a Carnovore Diet even though it went against my moral values of eating animals. I have to say for my compromised digestive system because of surgery leavinvg me with a short gut it has improved my process of digesting food. I will not eat any meat/fish that is farmed by big corporations as all foods is predominantly chemicals and feeding the animals unnatural manmade foods and kept in inhumane conditions. I know that generally most people ‘believe’ eating meat, eggs and raw dairy is bad for cholesterol, heart disease, cancers and can aggravate joints and bones but actually is a ploy to get people to consume ultra processed food mainly low fat sugary foods which is a toxic overoad for the human digestion. I totally agree if the person can eat whole foods from plants; the most, believe or not toxic foods are soy, seed oils - yes even olive oil, wheat/grains and is bad for human health along with certain plants very high in phytotoxins, oxalates, include goitrogens, lectins, alkaloids, nightshades, phytates and tanins, which can cause some people problems. It is not a straightforward solution as each and everybody’s digestive is affected differently The main stay is to breakaway from the Standsrd American Diet - SAD. and eat only when hungry and stop eating when full - eating 3 full meals a day was nothing more than a marketing ploy to put the food industry back to profits after WW2 had finished and food rationing had stopped to increase sales. Listen to your body as it knows what is needed nutritionally to bring the best results for good health.
⚡️From Fatigue to Fuel: What’s Your Energy Story?
Ever feel like your body’s running on empty, even when you’re “doing everything right”? This split-screen visual says it all: sometimes, low energy isn’t about motivation—it’s about missing nutrients. 👉 Common deficiencies that quietly drain us and the nutrient-rich foods that help us bounce back - Spinach = Iron (fights fatigue from anemia) - Almonds = Magnesium (supports sleep & muscle recovery) - Salmon = Vitamin D (boosts mood & energy) - Eggs = B12 (essential for nerve health & vitality) - Bananas = B6 (powers energy metabolism) - Oranges = Vitamin C (helps absorb iron & energize immunity) 💬 What foods help you feel more energized or clear-headed? Have you ever had a nutrient deficiency that surprised you? Drop your story, tip, or go-to snack below 👇 Maybe it will be just the pick up that someone in the community needs this weekend.

I can’t eat fruit and veg anymore it causes such gut distress even though I was a vegan for 15 years. It’s controversial but I’m currently giving the carnivore diet a go even though it went against my principles. A hard one as I have to say I’m a lot better than I was an a vegan. What do others think - I was really shocked by the aggressive behaviour of others when they see I’m in the carnivore diet? My daughter thought I was gross. As a nutritionist no diet of any kind is the best way to get nourishment. Everyone’s gut and preferences are different and unique so why can’t people just eat what they like and let others eat a diet that they like and suits them.
