@Oyin Babatunde Hi Oyin, Thank you so much for your feedback , it's really helpful. I’m currently working on Task 4 and have already had a meeting with the headteacher I work with. By Friday, I’m hoping to complete interviews with both teachers and supply teachers. Your feedback has really made me think, and I’m now leaning more towards building a staffing agency focused on special needs (SEND) support. From my research, training teachers here in the UK can be challenging because most schools rely on government funding for professional development, and individuals rarely pay for training themselves. As I’ve been exploring the market, I’ve noticed a clear gap: teachers are looking for agencies that can effectively place them in schools, while schools are seeking reliable agencies that can provide quality staff, particularly within the SEND sector.
Day 2: Explore the Business Idea Vault
Today, spend 15–20 minutes going through the Business Idea Vault. In the comments: - Share your top 3 ideas - You don’t need to explain yet, just list them Reminder: we’re choosing ideas that fit your life, not trends. I’ll be reading through the comments, and I’ll see you tomorrow for Day 3.

Hi
Hello everyone, my name is Salamatu Ojo. I’m really happy to be here and looking forward to learning and moving from the “I will” phase to the “I am doing” phase. I’m a Special Needs Specialist and have worked with children from early years (1–5 years) all the way to post 16 (16–25). Really looking forward to this journey with you all.
Day 1: Your Reality Check
Welcome to Day 1 🎉 Today is about choosing an idea that fits your real life, not an ideal one. In the comments, reply with: 1. How many hours per week can you realistically commit? 2. One skill, experience, or thing people already ask you for help with. No overthinking, just honesty. I’ll be reading through the comments, and I’ll see you tomorrow for Day 2

I currently have about 5 hours per week to commit. I work full time 9/5 as a special needs teacher, supporting children with complex needs and those in transition. People have asked me for guidance on supporting children with SEND and SEN awareness training for corporate offices. I have experience working within both the Nigerian and UK education systems, including different curricula and school based approaches to supporting children with special needs. Currently thinking of an idea of building a platform that trains teachers in SEN and outsourcing them to schools. But no clear pathway for turning my experience into a structured business, and i will really appreciate guidance on how to do that.
