This is Crazy - and Thank You!
You might have seen that @Matthew Burns new website ProveWorth has gone live, and is currently registering new communities as well as accepting reviews. What is currently blowing my mind is that the CLASSIFIEDS is #3 in the Top Ranked category!!! And it's all because of you. I'm so grateful not only for your kind comments but also just for taking the time to rate and review this community. One of the great things about ProveWorth is that, like the CLASSIFIEDS, in is public and searchable so that means that ranking high on the site can really help with visibility and growth. On that note, if you have found value here and would like to help us stay at the top of the rankings so that we can all grow and be found easily by more amazing people, please leave your review here. And if you'd like more information on what Matthew is doing, you can see his post here.

This is awesome!
This is BIG for Community Owners (NOT just Skool)
Sharing something that I think is going to be really big for community owners 👀 I just joined a newer platform called ProveWorth.com, and the more I explore it, the more I see how game changing this is going to be, especially if you run 𝒂𝒏𝒚 𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒅 𝒐𝒇 𝒐𝒏𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒆 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒚. It’s basically a public review + discovery platform for online communities. Think: one place where real reviews live, are 𝐒𝐄𝐎 𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 (awesome for private communities that are not searchable by SEO!) and it helps people decide which communities to join. This isn’t just for Skool, either. When signing up, it lets you choose where your community lives, including: - Skool - Facebook Groups - Circle - Discord - Slack(and more) This is huge, because most communities are private and not searchable on Google. ProveWorth.com lets your reviews be public, so even private communities can still be discovered and trusted. Another important note: 👉 Right now, ProveWorth.com is free before official launch. I don’t know exactly when launch happens, but once it does, the free access is expected to go away. If you care about trust, credibility, and making it easier for the right people to say “yes” to joining your community, this is worth checking out early. Sharing because I genuinely think this will become a go-to tool for community owners! I'm excited to dive deeper into this one!

Your Child’s Brain Is Still Being Built — and This Changes Everything About Parenting
If your mornings feel tense — tight chest, short fuse, big emotions before the day even starts — it’s not because you’re doing it wrong. It’s because your child’s brain is unfinished. Here’s the part most parenting advice leaves out:👉 About 75% of the human brain develops after birth. That means childhood behavior isn’t just “attitude” or “willpower.”It’s active neurological construction — and parents are part of the build. Every day, your child’s nervous system is asking:“Am I safe enough to learn right now?” Research shows a few small, repeatable habits answer that question — and reduce meltdowns at the root: 1. Regulation comes before correction. During a meltdown, the thinking brain is offline. A calm adult nervous system acts as an external regulator. This is how kids learn calm — not by being told, but by being co-regulated. 2. Name feelings before fixing behavior. Labeling emotions lowers threat signals in the brain and helps logic return. Kids who can name feelings are far better equipped to manage them over time. 3. Predictable routines reduce stress hormones. Consistent mornings and bedtimes lower cortisol and create the safety needed for focus and learning. Routine isn’t rigid — it’s regulating. 4. Let children repair mistakes. Problem-solving (“What can we do now?”) builds resilience and confidence. Over-rescuing or shaming interrupts this brain wiring. 5. Daily connection prevents later explosions. Just 10 minutes of child-led, distraction-free attention boosts oxytocin and emotional security — which directly reduces power struggles later. This isn’t permissive parenting. It's brain-based parenting. I shared a deeper breakdown — including the exact phrases that de-escalate meltdowns in the moment — in a recent video for parents who want practical tools, not theory. 💛 If you want ongoing support and grounded parenting conversations, I also host a free Empowered Moms community where we talk about this stuff in real life, not perfection. 💬 Which part of the day feels hardest right now — mornings, transitions, or meltdowns?
💭 Reflection Question for Fellow Builders
What’s one piece of advice about emotions or thought patterns you wish you had learned earlier in life — especially as it relates to leadership, work, or decision-making? So much of how we show up in business is shaped by emotional skills we were never explicitly taught. For anyone interested, I recently shared a short video on simple daily habits that build emotional resilience and healthy brain development in kids. While it’s framed for parents, I’ve found the principles translate surprisingly well to how we support ourselves and others under pressure. Sharing as a resource only:👉 https://youtu.be/o-OAV_rnzeo For anyone who is a mom or works closely with families, I also host a free community called The Empowered Mom’s Community — a supportive space focused on emotional tools, parenting strategies, and real-life conversations.👉 https://www.skool.com/calm-parenting-collective-3062 Curious to hear what’s shaped you along the way.

The Power of Tiny Steps
Some weeks, I feel like the tortoise 🐢 — juggling so many hats and projects that it’s easy to feel like I’m going nowhere. But I’ve learned a secret: progress doesn’t have to be giant leaps. Tiny steps move you forward. One of my favorite ways to stay on track is my Post-It note technique. Here’s how it works: - I break every big task into small, doable chunks. - Each chunk gets its own Post-It note. - I only focus on the one I’m working on right now, hiding the rest so I’m not overwhelmed. This way, I never see the mountain — just the next step. It keeps me moving, even on weeks when life feels like a whirlwind. I recently learned about the Pomodoro Technique, which is kind of a perfect complement. You work for 25 minutes, then take a 5-minute break, repeating the cycle. It’s a simple reminder that focused, short bursts of work add up to real progress — without burning out. The truth is, little by little really does work. Whether it’s Post-Its, Pomodoros, or just showing up for a single step, momentum builds quietly, steadily, and without overwhelm. So if you’re feeling stuck or swamped this week, try this: pick the next tiny step, take it, and let the rest wait. Slow and steady wins the race — and eventually, everything gets done. 💛 Your challenge today: Pick one task, break it into a single, small step, and take it. Post-Its optional, but highly recommended. 😉 ✨ Want more support and encouragement along the way? [Link in bio, join free the Empowered Moms Community!]
