Big update for everyone in the classroom
Watch the video below for important updates. This week I’ve been building the Senior Dev Accelerator. It's a framework I personally used to grow into senior roles, and now I've distilled it into one place for you. Inside, you’ll find everything from my Obsidian vault: - Real interview notes from company interviews I went through - Frontend developer deep dive - Backend, and cloud topics (work in progress...) - Deep connections between concepts - Direct links to the full Udemy courses (free for all members) This will replace the old Frontend Guide and all the separate course pages. I'm looking forward to your feedback on whether this is useful or not, and whether you'd like to see the other topics covered in a structured format like this 👇

Welcome Concepta!!
Hey crew!
My name is Kaushal, I am in Canada. So exciting to see a literal international community haha! I have worked in the financial sector as a Software Engineer for the past 5 years with the last 3 as a Fullstack. Like many of you, I am also struggling to level up my technical skills while juggling a full-time job. My top 3 goals are: 1. To accept an Intermediate Backend or Fullstack position at a Health/Wellness Tech startup earning $140+ 2. Develop a robust portfolio of projects I can speak to with authority and ownership; I want to work on my own startup as a solo founder in the near future 3. Make at least 2 strong connections in this community! Outside of being a Software Engineer I: - Love taking my dog on walks and car rides, she's a little salt and pepper Terrier mix (will attach a pic) - Enjoy picking up a solid story or reading non-fiction; I finally decided to start reading through One Piece and taking another shot at The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People - Work on home improvement projects, I just moved into a new place and it is so much fun to finally have control of my space! Looking forward to meeting you all and taking this journey together!

@Kaushal Patel welcome brother 🔥
BEM CSS
I found this helpful and I though to share it with everyone. 😄 Once you're accustomed to using styling libraries, it's easy to overlook fundamental CSS concerns—such as maintaining clean, scalable code and preventing style leakage. The BEM (Block–Element–Modifier) methodology helps address these issues, particularly when working with native CSS. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SLjHSVwXYq4&ab_channel=KevinPowell

thanks for sharing this, luckily I started learning web fundamentals from the basics, but still there were things here that I didn't know about 😏
How to make architectural decisions
In this video, I discuss a question I get asked a lot from mid-level developers, which is how to make architectural decisions that impact our system and project. It's crucial to evaluate multiple options, list their pros and cons, and document our choices. Watch the video to learn the framework I use for making such decisions 👇
