Hey crew!

My name is Kaushal, I am in Canada. So exciting to see a literal international community haha! I have worked in the financial sector as a Software Engineer for the past 5 years with the last 3 as a Fullstack. Like many of you, I am also struggling to level up my technical skills while juggling a full-time job.

My top 3 goals are:

To accept an Intermediate Backend or Fullstack position at a Health/Wellness Tech startup earning $140+
Develop a robust portfolio of projects I can speak to with authority and ownership; I want to work on my own startup as a solo founder in the near future
Make at least 2 strong connections in this community!

Outside of being a Software Engineer I:

Love taking my dog on walks and car rides, she's a little salt and pepper Terrier mix (will attach a pic)
Enjoy picking up a solid story or reading non-fiction; I finally decided to start reading through One Piece and taking another shot at The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People
Work on home improvement projects, I just moved into a new place and it is so much fun to finally have control of my space!
