If I typically wear a 10.5 size across all shoes (casual and dress), what should I expect sizing wise for a pair of Cadet's from Thursday Boots? A half size down? Full size? Appreciate the input gents!

I picked up my peacoat from my tailor yesterday. She did a great job, and I think the coat fits far better than it used to. However, in my opinion, out of an abundance of caution, she seems to not get the fit of the waist quite right out of fear of accentuating a man's.... hind end. The coat fits very well in the chest and has that tailored feel, yet the waist seems loose, and the overall fit slightly boxy, rather than that sexy triangle that compliments the masculine physique. What is your opinion? Should I have it reworked? Or is she right? There is a night and day difference between what it was, and how it is now, and that is all for the better, but maybe my expectations were too high? (It's not a suit jacket, after all...)
