Welcome to our bakery story-oven: Let's get baking. I'm Roy, a baker for 30 years now- from Belgium to Thailand to Switzerland. I've lived the beautiful, exhausting, and hilarious life of midnight shifts and missed holidays. This community is the start of about the real bakery life: the magic and the madness. We had these giant walk-in fridges, right? Once a colleague asked me to grab something from door 3. As soon as i opened another baker jumped out roaring. I jumped so high i nearly frost-baked myself on the ceiling. Lesson learned. In a bakery fridge, you're never alone-especially when someone is bored at 4 am.
