Very different weather on the East Coast of NSW
It's gone one from a heatwave to quite cool here on the East Coast of NSW for the last few days. Very enjoyable, but probably wont last much longer. How's the weather where you are? Did this post reach any international members? Please share what the weather is like in your part of the world? Happy Gardening Marty

Has been cool in Sydney since Christmas day. Hoping to get some warmer weather so we can go out on the boat fishing

@Marty Ware me too. We have a little 4m 35hp run about. Nothing flash so stick to Sydney harbour & Botany Bay but always come home with a feed.
Hot nights
With nearly 30deg at 8pm and upto 43deg during the days it’s been a difficult time for a lot of my plants unfortunately. What sort of weather is everyone else experiencing in there area.

The Sky Was Angry Last Night
But we got 25mm of well needed rain on the garden last night and it went deep into my very dry compost pile! You need lots of water to get into the carbon part of my compost and to wet down the worm farms that surround the pile.

It sounded like good soaking rain. Question.....being city folk & being on chlorinated water should I fill a container & let it sit for 24 hours to let the chlorine disapate before water my pot plants. I know I have to do that before I water my worms.
Dodgy Soil Tester
Hey guys I decided to get myself soil tester (I'm getting serious). Anyway I was on Temu grabbing a couple of things & grabbed one from there. So I got it yesterday & this morning tested all my pots & all them said Ph 8. So here am I thinking oh no my soil is alkaline but to be certain I thought I would test my bag of potting mix & compost I bought from Bunnings yesterday. It also had a reading of 8!! Is this possible or do you reckon Temu has ripped me off?
