I so often get asked the same question, why do you do it and the answer is never simple - hard work very low pay and often nil profit - but the thought of not doing what I do makes me really understand the ‘why’ question. I wouldn’t want to be doing anything else and the ability to produce my own food and sustain my family is so fundamental to our purpose. It gives me purpose and that is my why.
