Are there anyone in the group who runs with a run/walk interval?
Hello, I'm Pam, I have been running for 9 years and didn't start until I was 50. I developed a breathing issue due to a virus and now run with walk intervals. Does anyone else in the group run this way? Also, how would you conduct the run test for your heart rate running this way? Thanks, Pam

49 year old
Hi 9milers My name is Rory Davitt and I had my first meeting with Marlies and Baz today helping me lay down the track I am going to take. I am a beginner and I am 49 years old. I have now taken my first steps in this fantastic world of running. So looking forward to my preparation and achievements with Marlies, Baz and to share in this great community and what a great community it is, looking at the posts has truly inspired the hell out of me. Thanks all.

100 MILER BIRTHDAY BIKERIDE
Bring flowers to my mom's birthday💐 - they live in a nearby province Zeeland, just 50miles away. Long bike rides are the perfect cross training for marathon runners, building your overall aerobic capacity while further optimizing your fat metabolizing ability at the same time.

Hope you can nail your first marathon Mathew my starting point is 5k, hopefully moving on to my first marathon in 2024
Hello
I am a blind athlete and looking to do my first full marathon in January 2024. I am hoping to qualify for Boston also. Being a PC athlete, my qualifying time is under 5 hours, but I am shooting for four hours and 40 minutes or better. My favorite distance is the half marathon, but I also love adding in sprint triathlons in the summertime for something different. In the winter time, I tend to run a half marathon race per month for 6 to 7 months. I have been following the 9 Mile Marathon for years, and found the prospect of free curriculum irresistible. I hope to be able to access and digest all of the info and work it in to my training program. I run my own business and love the idea of the 9 Mile Marathon. I never pulled the trigger because I can’t wrap my mind around it. So, here it goes! Thanks for having me!
