Tax implications of STRs? More specifically, I have always been confused by HST remissions, is HST collected and remitted by Airbnb? Do longer term Airbnb stays imply tenancy at any point?

Who are your ideal potential tenants? - (age, income, etc.) 3. What type of investor do you want to be?​ (passive, semi-passive, active) 4. Hello! I’m Rony, a Real Estate broker with HouseSigma.com with 8 years experience. I was previously a manager at Zolo.ca as well. I thought I was investing in real estate until I realized that the market was just gifting equity with the help of (almost) free money, that all changed when I decided to split my income property into a duplex, after which I got a taste of meaningful cashflow. I'm now looking to expand and improve returns, with hopes of converting single family residential homes into quality multi unit rentals. Looking forward to learning together with everyone in the group!
