New Gemini And GPT Models
Both Google and OpenAI just released major model updates that focus on making AI faster, cheaper, and way less annoying to talk to. Google: Gemini 3.1 Flash Lite - 45 percent increase in output speed for lightning-fast responses. - Massive cost savings with input tokens priced at only $0.25 per million. - 2.5 times faster time to first answer for near-instant interaction. - Hits 86.9 percent on the GPQA Diamond reasoning benchmark. (This score means the AI now correctly solves 86.9% of "Google-proof" science questions that even PhD-level experts only get right about 70% of the time.) OpenAI: GPT 5.3 Instant - Drastic reduction in those preachy disclaimers and safety preambles. - Much smoother conversational tone that avoids robotic "cringe" phrases. - Better web search synthesis that gives you answers instead of just link lists. - Stronger writing with more range and better personality consistency. It feels like we are finally moving away from models that lecture us and toward tools that just get the job done. Are you guys more excited about Google's crazy low prices or OpenAI finally cutting out the "as an AI language model" fluff? One of my favorite models is Gemini so both the flash & pro 3.1 versions are great for our internal & external apps

@Mason Anderson Their multimodal capability and continued tool updates is second to none
Introducing Make AI Web Search
So… real-time web search just moved inside Make. Make just launched Make AI Web Search, a native module that lets us pull live internet data straight into our scenarios without extra APIs, scraping tools, or separate accounts. Here is why I think this is a big deal for how we build AI and no-code automations: - Built-in web search module right on the canvas, no external API keys or scraping services - Search any topic and feed results directly into AI Tools, CRMs, notifications, agents, and more - Real-time research flows for brand monitoring, competitor tracking, SEO watchlists, and trend tracking - Automated alert pipelines for breaking news, regulatory changes, or industry announcements that can trigger downstream workflows - Lead enrichment from the web into your CRM, including background research when a new lead appears - Auto-updating knowledge workflows like dashboards, briefings, and article summaries powered by AI plus live search - Scenario logic based on search results, like only triggering actions when certain keywords or mentions appear - Available on all plans, with searches consuming credits so you can tune costs by choosing lighter models where it makes sense I am curious how you guys are thinking of using this. If you could plug real-time web search into any of your current automations, what would you build first? Article: https://www.make.com/en/blog/ai-web-search
