I cannot create a new ads campaign
After everything is set and I click “Launch campaign,” the page scrolls to the top, no error messages are shown, but it’s impossible to save the campaign. Is it only my issue, or has somebody experienced the same today? Also, two books unexpectedly got the status "Live. With unpublished changes," even though I never requested any changes. There were no messages from Amazon about it. I'd like to understand whether this is a widespread issue before I contact support.

The first issue that you mentioned happened to me yesterday. I had to start over to get rid of it.
Gems from my toolbox: booming clusters with almost no reviews - Week 30, 2026
Finally Choose Yourself: median BSR 15,210; median review count: 6. My KDP toolbox generates many more gems than I could humanly use. After weeks of thought, I decided it would be irresponsible to keep them to myself. It is not the "cherry-picking" so popular in a lot of YouTube videos: "Look, this book sells thousands of copies a day. It's so easy to make a similar book," with information about thousands of similar books that never had even one sale conveniently left untold. I will do the opposite, showing you clusters of books with very high BSR and review counts close to zero. And I will give you the words that are linked to the cluster - the first three words of this message. I started to use this technique to find good anomalies on Amazon about a month ago, and the first book I published as a result has a BSR steadily around 30,000 with zero reviews. ----- And now, the books (the links are affiliate, and yes, I know there is a low chance any of you will purchase them): I Owed Myself This: 100 Sessions to Finally Choose Yourself Without Guilt and Stop Tolerating Less Than You Deserve Loyal to Me: 110 truths to stop tolerating what drains you and finally choose yourself without guilt PEOPLE SKILLS: Master People, Master Conversations, and Master Yourself What do you think about this format? Would you like to have it in the future?

Thank you for sharing. This is awesome. The one thing all these three books have in common: a big Tiktok following that brings a lot of traffic to Amazon. I think the best way to create books these days is doing research on Tiktok first on niches that work there than then publish on amazon and spend time building a following and marketing on tiktok.
Audiobooks: Human vs. AI-narrated
Surprising but predictable results: in blind tests, customers prefer AI-narrated books, yet prefer to purchase human-made ones. This is a great example of the current state of the industry: the quality of generative tools' production has leveled up with or exceeded average human levels. Yet, most customers still prefer to read or listen to a fellow human. Experience and taste - these two elements are necessary to produce a valuable product, and no tool can substitute them.

I had a book narrated with AI and it failed miserably in sales. I removed it from the catalog and got a real narrator and it sells very well now. Also, in another book I have, a reader contacted me to say that she loved how approaching and real the narrator voice was. I'm not sure how we can get that with AI even with the best models available. I do think it works well for some books, but no idea what factor plays a role in success vs failure. Also, I only do non-fiction, which is not the subject of this specific study.
How to update A+ content in a faster way ?
I only had 6 books in my 9 months journey on KDP so far and was able to keep my A+ content up-to-date (and not too bad quality). I've increased my production pace and now I can release new books with relative low effort & time. But my bottleneck remains in updating A+ content across all marketplaces... The more books I have, the more time it takes, as I haven't been able to automatize it. The creation of banners is actually fast, but it is the updates inside KDP, for all marketplaces, that takes ages... Anyone has been able to find a smart way for managing this ??? Any extension ?? Anything with Claude CoWork or else ?? I remember reading in a forum @Hector Martín was able to release like 60+ books in a short time , how are you managing the A+ content for them ?? Tx in advance for any help !!!! @Igor O @Thomas Juuls @Hector Martín

@Yannick Di Mondo not sure if production and translation is also a bottleneck for you, but this week I’ve been playing around with Claude Design and it’s being amazing to quickly update copy and designs ready to publish or even create new ones from scratch.

@Yannick Di Mondo no, Claude Design is only useful for real design work like covers, A+ and other material where you want to apply your book’s visual identity.
Video ad
I have a seasonal book on Amazon and I am thinking to give it more push by adding a video ad, I am wondering if anyone in the group tried video ad, and did it work for you

It works but be very careful with how you setup your campaign. Because of the high visibility, people tend to click more with less judgment of the book itself, just to see the details in the listing. But many end up not buying, so your acos can go through the roof! At least this was my experience. I had the stupid idea to make a broad auto campaign with video ad and got a lot of 1 clicks for many random keywords that never bought the book 💸💸💸

Designer and artist recently started venturing myself on KDP. I’m looking forward to learning and contributing!
