The benefits of 1-1 coaching!
Today I heard from Kelly. Kelly is a personal trainer and fitness guru that loves the outdoors but wanted more confidence in her skillset. I've worked with her on 2 sessions so far, building confidence in: βœ… Knife work βœ… Tool use βœ… Processing wood for a fire βœ… Lighting & maintaining a fire βœ… Leave No Trace ethics βœ… Navigation basics βœ… Trip / route planning Kelly just got in touch with some awesome photos from her solo wild camp which she is obviously buzzing about and was kind enough to say that our sessions together have helped! She has another session booked, ready to delve a little deeper into her skillset now. If you're looking for something similar, please do get in touch - always happy to help.

@Roy Houston I have visited someone that lived by Niton Junction. A bit jealous when I was there as I loved seeing the mountains more. 😊

@Roy Houston Thank you. 😊 We were supposed to try a different way to get to BC at the end of August, but that got cancelled when my husband was unemployed in May. We were supposed to book in May for the Provincial Parks in Alberta and BC for camping. I went years with not going to the mountains to annually again. Hoping to go again next year. We went through Banff the last couple of years due to that way being closer to Salmon Arm, BC for our trip in August. In May 2025, when we camped near Banff, we drove back through Jasper National Park. My heart sunk once we got to the fire areas and passing by the Town of Jasper. I visited their as a teenager and know how beautiful it is. I used to have an annual drive through Jasper National Park as well.
