Happy 4th!
Happy 4th Everyone! This is one holiday where people may choose to drink that usually don't. I'm literally making this post for that reason. If you haven't drank since starting a GLP and choose to today, just know that it might hit HARD and FAST. Like, 1-2 drinks and feeling it type of thing. If you didn't know that, maybe I just saved you from a bad day. Otherwise, have fun!

Great advice, especially on a holiday like today. I actually tried having one drink after starting a GLP-1 and quickly decided, “Nope… this isn’t worth it.” 😄 Before GLP-1s, if I had a drink on the Fourth of July, it was usually just to help drown out the fireworks because of my PTSD. These days I just turn the TV up really loud instead. Thanks for the reminder—it may save someone from learning the hard way.
What’s Confusing?
Hey everyone! I like to ask this question periodically as it helps me direct my focus. What is the most confusing thing to you right now? Where are you getting stuck? Let me know below!

Both confusing and frustrating at the same time... Cerebrolysin and Cortexin. Two of the MOST discussed compounds for the brain. They're brought up in conversations ranging from ADHD and TBI to neurodegeneration and cognitive recovery. Countless discussions, protocols, mechanisms, and stacking ideas. Easy to research. Easy to map. Easy to stack. Impossible to find. 😆

@Peregrina Ramos Typically, researchers go on the premise that 6mg of the cerebroprotein is equivalent to 1mL of the cerebrolysin. So if you're looking a cerebrolysin protocol (the manufacturer has protocols on their site), that's how you convert it. 30mg of powder is equivalent to 5mL of liquid.
NAD & Mots Dosage
Does this look right? Should I change anything? NAD - 500 mg vial, added 3 ml BAC, want to start with 25 mg 2-3x week so it would be 15 units? MOTS - 40 mg vial, added 2 ml BAC, want to do 5 mg 2-3x week so it would be 25 units?

You have gotten very sound feedback on this. @Cindy Long @Cole Michele @Amy Mc 👍 🤩. Personally, 5mg mots hammered me 🤬. Calculations are a must IMO. I jot everything down…several times… and several different places 🤓
IPA / CJC
When is it best to take these two peptides? Morning or before bed?

One thing I’ve been thinking about is whether “optimal” and “practical” are always the same thing. I see the recommendation to stay fasted 60-90 minutes before and after, and biologically that makes sense as one of those “optimize the GH pulse” ideas. The problem is, I’m probably the least likely person I know to be accidentally fasted for 60-90 minutes before and after anything. 😄 Since I’m already planning a sleep experiment, I think I’d rather keep the rest of my routine consistent and change only one variable at a time. Otherwise, if my sleep changes, I’ll be left wondering whether it was the peptide or the fact that I completely changed my evening routine. Sometimes the best experiment isn’t the most perfect one - it’s the one that’s repeatable. But I have made note of the differences people are reporting with a.m. versus p.m. dosing. I always appreciate anecdotal feedback - it doesn’t replace data, but it often points me toward questions I wouldn’t have thought to ask. 🤓
Epithalon dosing
Has anyone else come across the two schools of thought regarding the appropriate daily dosing for Epithalon or Epitalon? As I was doing research, I noticed that some charts use the dosing based on the Russian study of Epithalamin which was 5 mg to 10 mg per day. However, it has been debated that the synthetic version of the peptide we are using Epithalon requires a dramatically lower dose per day, and that was suggested at 500 mcg-1mg per day. Those are two significantly different dosing schools of thought. And I understand the research behind. It makes sense, but I haven’t found a consistent answer as to which one is correct or maybe there is no answer.

@Hack Smith I find this particularly interesting because I don’t remember any dramatic “I can definitely feel this working” moments with Epitalon. Then again, each time I ran it, I basically considered it a background bioregulator, so I may have overlooked the gradual effects. I’ll be running it again this week (and again in September before a major international trip), so now I’m curious whether I’ll notice a difference from a higher dose or simply notice more because I’m paying closer attention. 🤓
