Day 2: Does anyone read here?
Today: my flu got a lot worse but I had a clear day today so I just let my body recover. Went for a walk and started the second module. I want to start videos from tomorrow. Been taking notes of the content, getting to understand it and observing myself from the first module. Going to start applying it and working through where the pattern started as I work through the second module. Side note: I’ve started reading Managing Oneself by Peter F. Drucker today as I feel it’s something I’ve never actually learnt properly. Wanted to see if anyone’s reading anything atm? What do you guys like reading? What hobbies do you guys have instead?
Day 1
It’s my fourth day on the paid for community. I’ve just been focusing on the classroom so didn’t notice the community or the daily accountability thing so I’ll be starting today Today: stayed up until fajr, slept after it, woke up around 10am uk time, cleaned myself up, took notes of some videos, read a chapter of my book, had brunch (6 bomboclaat eggs, lettuce and pitta bread lol), went to the local library to print out docs for a job application, met some friends there, came home and had second meal (rice, dhaal, and fish curry), doing swc. I’ve got a bad flu atm so no gym. Need to fix my routine and make my short-term to mid-term goals tangible to help it. I also feel like I consume more than I create and am unsure of whether this is a bad thing for my current position or ever

My default pattern is either deflector or shrinker. I’m ashamed of where I am currently but have internalised that performing is a temporary fix to a permanent problem from previous experiences of burning out so instead I now deflect. I was predominantly an appeaser too but it led to me taking too much responsibility too quickly against my actual desired pathway and I left all of it. I’d say I’m a combination of all four and have made conscious efforts to fight them without seeing it clearly and therefore kept burning out. Amazing program so far bro. All the team has smashed it. Been researching psychology recently but end up on random rabbit holes that aren’t immediately applicable so the structure of this program is extremely invaluable and definitely needed in this day and age. Big thanks for making this and big congrats on launching it, if you haven’t heard it already!

Hey everyone. My name is Robin and I’m focused on working towards the life I want by becoming the man who makes it happen. One thing I want to improve is my discipline and self-management. I joined SWC because this last year, although I have learnt a lot from it, has thrown me off track so much and from watching Dino and being here before it was a paid community, I am confident it can help provide support and path to thinking clearer, speaking better and actually executing on my goals.
