Fill Phrases added to the Classroom

I loved that video! Some fill phrases just seem to roll right out there, and you just gotta find your niche. Sometimes I work on the more difficult ones to perfect a way to say them. Those "Pop Phrases" are working well too. I was working on those to figure out the best possible way to say them. For example, the number 6, so I think I developed a way to say "Now 6, now 6," by saying: Now 6 now sigga-na, sigga-na, sigga-na, sigga-na 6", and then 5 fiva-da, fiva-da, fiva-da, 5 the eventually it starts to blend together. I thank you for that, Bobby. Learning to master the auction chant is an art, and it's really fun.

Pop Phrases
Had a great coaching session with one of our Skoolers today and we were talking about building a better cattle rattle. One piece of a great bid call is utilizing what I call a "Pop Phrase." This can be in many different fashions but finding what works best for your chant, your mouth and vocal chords and your tone. Here's a couple examples: “Six now, six now, six now…” “Bid at six, bid at six…” “Seven on, seven on, seven on…” “Eight and, eight and, eight and…" Now, Bid, On, And being your "Pop Phrase." By repeating the number with this "Pop Phrase" you can build your rhythm and flow in your auction chant.
