Hey Everyone, Robert Lord here, I'm a self studied IT professional with roughly 20 years of experience working with computers. Around 10, I started tearing down PC's and putting them back together, then when Myspace was the big social media, I learned to do basic HTML and CSS, in my early twenties I learned corporate infrastructure IT including Routing and Switching, Security Camera Systems, VOIP, Remote Desktop Support, and Server Administration for both Windows and Linux servers. After a few years of that I moved into Programming where I taught myself Excel VBA, Python, and JavaScript, primarily focusing on using Python for automation and JavaScript for web development. In 2020 during the heart of the pandemic, I helped launch a successful auction house company in Las Vegas, NV where we went from prelaunch to $2 million in annual sales in under 2 years. When ChatGPT launched in 2022, I quickly got into Ai, immediately seeing it as another great opportunity for expanding automation for small businesses everywhere. Currently I focus on Ai and Automation for small businesses, while applying various FOSS, Free Open Source Software, such as N8n and other platforms to help businesses build what is currently being called a Agentic Infrastructure. I'm a forever student and understand EVERYONE in this world has something to offer that we can learn from and that's what's drawn me to this community.
