Question
I just got my manuscript review from a developmental eiditor and he told me that I need to fix the structure. I pretty much sent him an eight chapter manuscript I got back a 23 chapter outline. Also I have chapter one done and I am currently working on chapter 2. My question what is the best way to fix your structure? Cause right now I am having to write some of chapter 2. So I am very overwhelmed.

@Elle Kennedy I am writing a paranormal romance with wolves. Having to find different sections that go to one chapter. I keep getting lost lol and having your co author pulling me away. Then when I get back to it, I can't find my way back.(#

Thank you. I had a developmental editor look it over and review it. But it doesn't hurt to have it looked over once done. My book has to much. I had to much in each chapter, I had my protagonist having sex and then marriage. I had her coming into her wolf power in a blink. I am writing a paranormal romance with wolves. I will check out your book on Amazon. I also think that if I had took creative writing in college.
Time to write
I don’t write. Is the reality of the situation. I wrote as a teenager. Voraciously. Short stories, songs, poetry, screenplays, ideas for novels and sweeping, epic series. I studied Creative Writing alongside Film Studies at university. And then, I just stopped. No real reason. I just didn’t write anymore. For as long as I can remember, when people ask me the questions “what would you do if; you could do anything in the world / you didn’t have to work for money / you won the lottery…?” I always said write! And yet I wasn’t writing. I think I built it up in my mind so much, that if I went back to writing, and didn’t get published, the weight of that failure would crush me. And so I didn’t write. To put off, what I started to fear was the inevitable failure ahead. I’ve done a lot of work on me lately, on my self-esteem, my self-worth, my conditions of worth, etc. and what’s come out the other side, is someone who is ready to give it a shot. Not to get published, not to become “a writer”, not to get rich (ha!), but just for the love of the craft. For me, it’s time to write. And I can’t wait.

Nicholas I understand where you are coming from with the self-esteem etc. I am working on it. I only wrote poetry when I was a teenager. I find that writing helps.
Write and Read - Brief Introduction
Alright. A new Board for your writing process! Yeah! Here you can share your work, pieces of what you’re writing, or excerpts from a book you’ve already published. Let’s keep this an honest board. If we write, we should read as well. That way, anyone who shares their work here and wants to be read will have a real audience of readers. But I’ll say it again: if you want people to read your work, return the favour by reading others too. That’s how a community works. I’d also encourage writers to share just a few pieces at a time, maybe one or two a day, so readers have the time to actually read them and, hopefully, leave a comment. 😃 How does all of this sound? enjoy!

I hope I have. I have read the posts, I like them. I do belong to another group here on Skool First Novel Academy. I like it but i think having more than one writing group is good. Get different perspectives.

I've never thought about it, but I can see clearly it's attention. If you don't have attention you will make mistakes.
