Facebook Ad Win….
To say I’m excited it an understatement! I have a client who wanted me to start running Facebook Ads for them, but I’ve NEVER ran an Ad before in my life, so how can I charge them for a service that I cannot do? MASSIVE IMPOSTER SYNDROME!!!! I’ve been quiet this last couple of weeks as I’ve been head down, bum up fully immersed in Sir Jeff’s Facebook Ads Course and I tell ya, if you follow what he teaches, it WILL work! The customer would only commit to an Ad Budget of $15 per day, which is not ideal so I explained why it should be higher etc etc but they wouldn’t budge so I thought, “What ta heck, let’s just DO IT!” Nervous… He’ll yeh! Confident…. Double hell yeh, if others can do it, why can’t I???? The first ads campaign started last Wednesday as I followed the rules of not starting on a Monday or Tuesday. The $15 Adspend was hit and the ads paused. Good, it did what it was supposed to do except the next day, the ads didn’t start again then on Friday, ChatGPT found the problem for me…. With new accounts, FB automatically stops campaigns after the Daily Adspend is reached so you have to delete the campaign stop (not sure what you call it) and then on Friday, it started again… (As ChatGPT told me, “trap for new players”…. Saturday 9pm, a Plumber booked a call with my client and she closed him today at $350 per month subscription to her local publication. Amount Spent: $61.33LTV of the client? If they stay 10 months, that would = $3,500 Outlay $61.33, make $3,500…. Now to ask the client, “How many $3,500’s would you like? My revenue AUD$750 on the 1st and 15th of each month + the first month’s subscription for each sale ($350) and 10% ($35 per month) ongoing commission when the client’s customer keeps paying. Thanks Jeff for an awesome course! Landing Page: https://coffeenewsaustralia.com.au/gc_plumber Thankyou Page: https://coffeenewsaustralia.com.au/thankyou_gc_plumber

First Exhibitor Gig is in the Books!!
It was a LOT of work to get this put together but definitely worth it. It was a private networking event that I found on Eventbrite. I had to pay $100 CAD (about $1.50 US) to be an exhibitor. No one really wanted to talk to me for the first hour, but when I got up and gave a 3 minute presentation, that's when the interest flowed. This was not my room of ICPs. The intention of the event was to get me started into exhibiting in a low pressure (sort of) situation. There were a few people who fit my ICP, and a couple of potential power partners, so there should be some direct benefit. The big tasks for this event were to create my banner and get some reps in. Long and short... I'm built for live, in-person networking... BNI, Chambers of Commerce, etc... and trade shows. That's who I am. It's my jam. As Ivan Misner, the founder of BNI says, "Work in your flame, (what inspires you) not in your wax (the drudgery). Moral of the story here, for me is... figure out your flame and live in it. My wax... telemarketing, email marketing, social media marketing, SEO. In some ways, I'd rather have my fingernails ripped out before making a cold call. Tell me... In this world of digital marketing. What's your flame? What's your wax? How can we help and support each other?

Small Wins to get to a BIG Win
I’ve mentioned before about the strategy of continually posting thought provoking material about AI on your Personal Facebook page. I have a FB “Friend” who was very anti AI on some of my posts but his attitude gradually changed as my posts were “educating” him. Well, he reached out to me this morning totally out of the blue and we had an awesome Zoom. He said that my posts opened his eyes to ideas on how AI can help him grow his business while helping his Franchisees grow theirs. He’s another Solar business that has reached out to me. Long Story Short: He’s sending me a heap of his existing marketing material for me to go over and then we are catching up again next Monday to nut out a win/win for me to be his Marketing Manager, persay… Retainer with profit-share which could be nice as he has 50+ Franchisees. The idea is that I build a system and use 3 of his Franchisees as Case Studies and then gradually roll it out to them all. FB Ads Speed To Lead Customer Service Social Media Management (GHL’s Auto Social Posting) DBR Reviews And so on… I am the Marketing Manager for 1 client already so with a bit of luck, this will be #2. The goal is to have 5 clients on the books. Focus on 1 business on Monday, another on Tuesday etc etc and to make me their most valuable asset that they will NEVER quit. This is the beauty of what we have here with this opportunity. There are 100 different ways to skin a cat and no one size fits all which really suits my personality as I get bored easily if I cannot be creative. Some people focus on just 1 solution and make a killing scaling, while others bundle many services as a solution for clients. It’s just a matter of defining what floats your boat and running with it. Please send some positive vibes out to the universe for me for Monday’s meeting. I look forward to posting it as a REAL WIN instead of a Partial Win. I’ve attached screenshots of our messages so you can see the flow…

@Aj H Thanks for your kind words Mate. If I was starting out today, knowing what I know now, I would focus on the CEO Lab Training and then you will know what to do after that. Some people say to "Sell and then Learn" how to fullfill what you just sold. If you are comfortable with that, go for it, but I personally feel better learning stuff first. But in saying that, you will NEVER learn everything about GHL. Every week they are releasing new stuff and a myriad of enhancements. I find it near impossible to keep up with just their weekly rollouts, which is why I suggest doing the CEO Lab Training first and then you will have an awesome foundation to build on.
