Israel's replacement of the Suez Canal
I have brought this up in a previous session, on this site, but that was about 3 months ago. Therefore, it would be difficult for newcomers to find it. Plus, there is a good chance that I erased it among more than 200 messages about 6 weeks ago. One of the beauties of this canal is the fact that it is wide enough to handle 2 ships at a time anywhere. Plus it is deeper than Suez so it can handle bigger ships. That is one of the main problems with the Suez Canal that it is one way. Thus ships have to park on both sides until their turn comes to cross in one direction. Also, a short while ago a large ship hit ground in the middle of the Suez. The canal was closed for 8 days till they managed to free it and allow to move. Plus the way ships are getting larger to move more things, the Suez will be a total bottle neck in a few years. https://youtu.be/nRe4PJbseog

@Joseph Dabby Im a fan of a one state solution which reverses 1947. Given the current state of governance in the "Palestinian territories" and Israel proper I very much prefer the Israeli state and consider it the only legitimate state structure in the vicinity. Fix your constitution though hahah. In practice this means that Israel should annex Gaza and Judea/Samaria, accept Arabic as second official language and Palestine as second national name besides "Israel". Everyone I talked to (outside Europe) hates this proposal and I think there is still a problem as the shifting demographics in Israel would diminish Jewish political power which might destroy the original goal of Israel as a safe place for Jews. So there is room for improvement and fine tuning, but all other options Ive heard so far just perpetuate the conflict to eternity. Therefore Gaza would become part of Israel and the owner/operator of the canal deserves all the profit. Isnt the Dead Sea too shallow for shipping?

@Joseph Dabby Oh wow, I didnt know that about Arabic. I think one of the problems after WWI was that one of the conditions of the Arab tribes to help the UK against the Ottoman Empire in WWI was that they would gain nationhood. The drawn borders were not very "organic", nevertheless to erase one new national identity - "Palestine" - and replace it with a new name "Israel" and enshrine political hegemony of one demographic over the other is a pragmatic solution to antisemitism but certainly none that follows equality before the law or you have to resort to ethnic cleansing or ethnically controlled migration. I like the Balfour declaration 1917 but 1947 was the balkanization of the Middle East in my opinion. The British failed to uphold the rule of law and vigilantism and riots / anarchy became more and more prevalent between 1917-1947. When 1947 came they basically gave up and told the UN that they should handle the issue. To have peace, freedom and justice for everyone involved you have to remedy this historical mistake. Arafat and then Hamas added the Islamic / leftist alliance to the mix. It seems Palestinian identity grew before their influence both as a rejection of Zionism but even before that as a result of federalism in the Ottoman empire. How did the Europeans steal the land from Israel?
Erdogan warns Greece: "We may come-in in one night"
Now you can all understand why 3 months ago, Israel, Greece and Cyprus reached an agreement to help each other against Turkey. Turkey is the new replacement of the Islamic Republic and Erdogan wants to rebuild the Ottoman Empire. He already has control over Syria and Lebanon. His blockage south is Israel, and Greece his blockage West. https://youtube.com/shorts/C6rfsSNwWtE?si=86H5-QWmEud88Ay9

Border Czar Tom Homan just gave the PERFECT response to Pope Leo
🚨 WOW. Border Czar Tom Homan just gave the PERFECT response to Pope Leo "I'm a lifelong Catholic. I wish they'd STAY OUT of immigration, they don't know what they're talking about." "Because if they wore my shoes for 40 years, and talked to a 9-year-old girl that got r*ped multiple times, or stood in the back of a tractor trailer with 19 dead aliens at my feet, including a 5-year-old boy that baked to death, if they understood the atrocities that happened on the open border, I think their opinion would change!" "And I welcome discussion with any of them, because they don't understand illegal immigration is not a victimless crime." "Where President Trump had the most secure border in the lifetime of this nation, right now, lives are being saved. He's saving thousands of lives a year because he has a secure border!" "Human traffickers are out of business, right? The cartels are going bankrupt because of that secure border. I wish they'd understand that." "Because if they did, I think they'd have a different opinion." Mic drop. https://x.com/samdani4232/status/2065503882567098483?s=46&t=gT6uLhaVod8uwzT4p6povA
