@Kim Thompson-Pinder I haven’t had the time yet. I see them there and need to budget my time for it, no interruptions. It will be fun and I do look forward to it. I’m so happy to be here, though.

@Kim Thompson-Pinder I decided to take some time today to watch the videos. I got about 30% of the way for now. Somewhere I have a knit hat I made like the one you demonstrated. By the way, you do an excellent job on the tutorial. There can only be success when watching those videos. You deliberate over details so well. I really appreciate how well you teach.

This one came out much better. Instead of a weird brown mouth with an orange nose, this little guy looks like a polar bear! I used a little bit of pale yellow for the mouth area, and brown for the nose. If you think about it, a polar bear’s snout is actually white, but kind of discolored, so the pale yellow works. I really like this guy a lot better than the first one. Lol I still can’t find my pom-pom makers though so there’s not one on the hat.

You’re so talented!
Quick iCord project
After I made iCord with my leftover 3 weight yarn, this is what I came up with. Simple, quick, but pretty! I can use it as a trivet, as long as I don't put anything scalding hot on it, or fresh from the oven hot... It's about 7 1/2 inches across (19 cm), about 1/2 inch thick (1.3 cm). I'm happy with it!

@Tina Bryner Thanks. I took your advice and watched mid-day when it’s been too hot to get anything else done. I got about 30% of the way. I’ve already done the knit hat in the past and I’ll do one again when I can get my hands on the recommended yarn. When I do it again, I’ll follow the instructions given. The yarn certainly does need to be of a certain quality and kind to get a win. I think there are a lot of great tips to learn from in here.
