How To Have A Consistent Mindset
Today’s Affirmation: “I am capable of mastering new skills with patience and consistent practice.” TAKING ACTION: ✅Where do you struggle when it comes to mindset? Let’s talk about it below. Remember, this is a safe space for open discussion. On Monday, we discussed how building our mindset muscle is similar to building our physical muscle tissue. The first strategy I mentioned was consistency. As the affirmation above mentions, it takes consistent practice. Just like you consistently show up for your workouts every day, you must consistently work on your mindset, as well. According to the website attached, here are the key elements of a consistent mindset: 📌 Regular habits and routine 📌 Unwavering focus on long-term vision 📌 Ability to bounce back from setbacks 📌 Steady progress over dramatic results Consistency doesn’t mean perfect. In fact, when it comes to your mindset, consistency may not even look like you think it looks. As you will read in the article below, “Consistency in mindset means keeping your thoughts, beliefs, and actions lined up with your goals, no matter what’s happening around you.” When time permits, I encourage you to read (and save!) the article below, as it has some wonderful information and tips for building consistency when it comes to mindset. 💫 How to Have a Consistent Mindset

@Bobbi Varney you’re not alone! Body dysmorphia is a real thing! I’ve lost about 30/35 pounds and some days I don’t see it!
Challenge Your Mindset
TAKING ACTION: ✅Do you challenge your mindset just past the point of discomfort? Share one way you do this below! On Monday, I gave you some tips for strengthening your mindset muscle ⬇️ 👉 You work them consistently 👉 You eat well to nourish them 👉 You challenge them just past the point of comfort This week, we’ve already talked about the first two. Today, we’re going to dive into the third strategy—challenging your brain/mind just past the point of comfort. Your mindset is built just like your muscles, and you already know you have to push your muscles just past the point of comfort for them to grow. This doesn’t mean you have to go to extremes. Just as you don’t want to injure yourself by pushing too hard in a workout, you also don’t want to take it too far when building your mindset. As we discussed yesterday, small, consistent actions (or thoughts) are the key to success! 🔑 Pushing your mindset just past the point of comfort might look like this ⬇️ Setting tiny, non‑negotiable challenges—one more rep, one more minute, or one cleaner meal—so your brain learns that discomfort doesn’t mean you should stop. When the urge to quit shows up, recognize it, take a few deep breaths, and deliberately take the next small action anyway. Repeating this pattern—just as you do in your workouts—is what builds real mental strength. If you want to strengthen your mindset, you must challenge your brain. Again, slow and steady wins the race. 💯

21 Mindset Recipes
TAKING ACTION: ✅Out of the list below, which one can you commit to adding to your diet this week? Remember, we don’t have to focus on cutting out foods—but rather crowding them out by replacing them slowly! Which brain-healthy food will you add this week? Share with me below! We’re talking about building our mindset muscles this week, and while that includes some intentional thought and work, there is one practical strategy you can implement immediately—nourishing your brain with whole-food nutrition! 💯 It may already be obvious that foods either positively or negatively affect your brain, but according to research, several foods are the real MVPs when it comes to improved brain power ⬇️ 🧠 green, leafy vegetables like spinach, kale, and broccoli 🧠 fatty fish like salmon, cod, and tuna, as well as healthy fats like avocado 🧠 berries 🧠 tea and coffee (Amen!) 🧠 walnuts Nutrients from these foods (and others) will help protect and strengthen your brain as you continue to build your mindset muscle along the way!
