Pricing for clients? 🤔💭
I recently demonstrated an AI appointment setter to a potential client, and he is highly interested in integrating it into his business. Regarding pricing, how are others doing it? I see that many AI platforms adopt both subscription and usage-based models. I’m keen to find out how businesses are structuring their pricing to manage the costs associated with these AI platforms.

@Keith M Question. What if I build the chatbot on their personal Voiceflow account that they are responsible for billing? In that case, I don't have to worry about usage costs, right?

@Keith M Makes sense. Thanks for the input
Successfully delivered for my second client
Just finished my second project successfully! What was it? I created a chatbot for a Ketamine Therapy clinic that helps capture leads, set appointments, and assist site visitors. Since I already completed my first project, I had the skills I needed—like API integrations, using complex functions and actions, and building conversation flows—to finish this one faster and easier. I wrote a case study about it. Check it out! This time, I included lots of helpful links and resources to make it more instructional. If you're thinking about building something similar, this case study will be really useful for you. Let me know what you think! Also, I'm always open to collaborating with others. If you have leads or potential clients but aren't sure how to go about onboarding, developing chatbots and automation solutions, and delivering the final product, we can help each other.

@Rahat Chowdhury Do their chatbot offer as many advanced features and functionalities as Voiceflow? Honestly, I haven't found a single platform that provides as extensive features as Voiceflow. Especially, with their recent release of LLM entity classification, it seems that Voiceflow has become hard to beat when it comes to building really advanced chatbots. But I could be wrong. Please let me know.

@Ak Mehdi No worries. Thanks for comment.
Best niche?
I’ve recently began my journey with AI, my plan is to start an AI agency. But I’m having trouble deciding what service and which market to tackle. What markets do you think need Ai the most and particularly what service?

In my opinion, the best way to research niche and product market fit is by offering free or low price consulting services. Get on call with businesses from different industries and niches, find out what their pain points are, and suggest them AI solutions. Benefits of this strategy are - 1. Some of these consulting clients may just ask you to build the solutions yourself. So, you can use your consulting services as a lead magnet. 2. You get to ACTUALLY learn and research the market instead of having unproductive niche research discussions with ChatGPT. 3. You will accumulate some goodwill and credibility, and maybe even money, to jumpstart your agency.
My Personal Opinion on Landing Your First Client with No Portfolio
In my personal opinion, cold outreach to sell your AI solutions with no prior credibility (testimonials, reviews, recommendations, etc.) or proof-of-work (case studies, stats, sales, etc.) is very unlikely to work, or the ROI is really low. Instead, I would suggest going to communities, forums, and subreddits where business owners in your target niche hang out. Then, engage in conversations, ask questions (avoid generic ones), give value, and build solutions for some of them for free, especially the ones you know will benefit the most from it. For example, building a lead capturing chatbot for a client who gets 1000 site visitors a day will benefit more than someone who only gets 100 visitors. The most important part of this strategy is to build the solution first before even pitching the idea or asking if they want it. Just lead with the final product. If they like it, great. Ask for their testimonial and move on to the next client. If they don't like it, you can still make it a case study and use it in your portfolio. I've made some of the same mistakes that I discussed in this post. So, don't worry about messing up and changing paths as you go.

@Shirsho Guha Thanks man!
Voiceflow AI Response's "Not Found Path" not working
So, I am using an AI response step with the knowledge base as the source. I have toggled the "Not Found Path" button on but it's not triggering consistently. Sometimes, when the KB AI step can't find any relevant answer, it takes the "Not Found Path," and other times (mostly), it returns a "Sorry, I don't know the answer to that question." Does anyone know how to fix this? Is there any workaround for this?
