So many times there are scheduling conflicts. People have busy lives. It's important to get paid for the month, NOT for the session. It's important that they see your lessons as a priority(because they've already paid), and not as something they can skip. When money is involved...people will show up. If for whatever reason they HAVE to reschedule, in your studio policy, you should have a dedicated time for makeups. I do one Saturday every month for makeups. I don't deviate from my one Saturday.
