Monday Motivation Roll-Call Reset
Happy Monday Syndicate Family. Today I want to get us all motivated to start talking to each other and posting more to the community. How can you help others? How can others help you? Let's get back to basics and remind each other who we are and why we are here: Let's all “Re-introduce our business in 1 sentence only. And let us know 1 thing you did this past weekend that was just for enjoyment and not work related. Examples: I help _______ achieve _______ without _______ I create ________ that I hope makes others feel ____________ or ___________ I sell ___________ that can help others do ____________ or solves this problem ____________ This weekend I just took a walk, read a book, slept in, etc. Be sure to comment on other's posts. What would you like to learn more of in what they do? How do you think you would be a strategic partner to help a member do ______. Then invite one friend from LinkedIn or your business group to join the Syndicate with the following Link: https://www.skool.com/successsyndicate/about or use the affiliate link in your profile. Let's grow together!

I create unscripted, audience-driven live experiences that celebrate connection, legacy, and belonging so audiences don’t just attend—they feel seen, heard, and part of something meaningful. This past weekend, I did something purely for enjoyment: I went to see Frank McDonough sing Frank Sinatra at Don’t Tell Mama, and it reminded me why I fell in love with live performance in the first place—the intimacy, the shared breath in the room, and the joy of simply being present as an audience member.

Happy Bear Coffee has received our LGBTBE Status
Good morning all! This post comes a few days ahead of the Friday Wins. I wanted to share that we have officially been certified as an LGBTBE by the NGLCC (National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce). We have been working for months to complete the process. This now opens doors for us to various Diverse Supplier opportunities and to connect with over 2,200 Certified LGBT Businesses. If you want more info about how to get your LGBTBE, shoot me a message. ☕🌈

@Daniel Kredensor Thank you
Focus
I find it interesting and appropriate that in Monday's Motivation post it mentions focus. As I sit here after two exhausting and exhilarating days of auditions, life handed me some stress with a car I'm locked out of, a battery that is dead and a tire that is flat with a notice from the city that I have 48 hours to get it off the street. What's an artist to do? Life happens, but I find it a battle of focus. In times of high stress my brain wants to shut down, what seems easy on other days; focus on the day job, organize the projects and the artistic endeavors, have a million meetings, is now a battle of capacity. I know I am not the only business owner or artist who deals with this. It is an exercise in management, it is an exercise of self-kindness, it is a practice of balance. I try hard to take the moments in life to bring me perspective and offer me lessons I can grow from. I cannot change the things that life throws my way, but I can learn to deal better with the adversities. Just my thoughts this morning.

- What do you build, create, or offer — and who is it for?I create live, unscripted performance experiences, conversations, and content that celebrate artists, stories, legacy, and human connection. My work is for people who love theatre, cabaret, Broadway history, and meaningful conversation—and for anyone who wants to feel seen, included, and part of something communal rather than just entertained. - What inspired you to start this path?I was inspired by a lifelong love of storytelling and performance, shaped early by classic television, Broadway, and the belief that art connects generations. A defining moment was realizing that my greatest gift wasn’t just performing songs, but creating space for dialogue, memory, and shared celebration—something that deepened through my friendship with Carol Channing and my years in the cabaret world. - What makes your approach or voice different in your space?My work is audience-driven and unscripted. I don’t just perform for people—I entertain them. Each show, podcast, or conversation is shaped in real time by the audience’s questions, memories, and curiosity. No two experiences are ever the same, and that authenticity is the point. - What are you most proud of accomplishing so far?I’m proud of building a body of work rooted in trust, longevity, and generosity—earning a reputation as one of the foremost celebrants of Hello, Dolly! and Carol Channing’s legacy, while also creating a broader platform (Richard Skipper Celebrates) that uplifts countless artists and voices. I’m especially proud of the community that keeps saying YES and coming back. - What are you currently working on or launching?I’m actively performing and expanding Richard Skipper Celebrates! Stories Songs Surprises, celebrating milestone birthday shows, touring Richard Skipper Celebrates Hello, Dolly!, growing my podcast and weekly newsletter, and intentionally building toward broader national visibility and sustainable income streams tied to my voice and experience. - What challenge are you actively navigating right now? Balancing visibility with sustainability—ensuring that my work reaches new audiences while remaining authentic, financially viable, and aligned with my energy. I’m also navigating how to scale connection without losing intimacy. - What kind of support or collaboration are you open to inside the Syndicate?I’m open to strategic partnerships, introductions to presenters or media, collaborative programming, feedback on positioning, and accountability around growth goals—especially with people who value community-centered leadership and legacy-driven work. - What’s one belief or lesson that has shaped how you do business or create?Connection outlasts promotion. When people feel genuinely invited, celebrated, and respected, they don’t just buy a ticket—they become part of the journey. - What’s something most people don’t know about you — but should? Behind the high energy and visibility, I’m deeply reflective and intentional. I think constantly about legacy, impact, and how to leave people better than I found them—onstage and off. - When I am outside of the work environment, I love to:I love meaningful one-on-one conversations, sharing meals with friends, supporting other artists, walking, reflecting, reading, and being in places like Palm Springs and Provincetown where creativity, history, and chosen family intersect.
