OpenClaw v2026.2.26 — Upgrade Report (Reviewed + Actionable)
Quick take: this release is a reliability upgrade for people running real workflows. What matters most: • External secrets management is now much cleaner • Routing/runtime got stronger (especially for threaded agent workflows) • Several important reliability fixes landed (allowlists, queues, typing states, Telegram action handling, browser relay stability) If you want, I can drop a step-by-step upgrade checklist in the comments based on your current setup. OpenClaw: Extracted Prompts (Generalized)
I just watched the video below and Matthew Berman details his OpenClaw CRM system. Here are the prompts he used to create his system Enjoy 22 copy/paste-ready prompts for building your own AI agent system. Each prompt builds a functional system or implements a proven best practice you can hand to an AI coding assistant. Replace placeholders like <your-workspace>, <your-messaging-platform>, and <your-model> with your own values. The repo is located here https://gist.github.com/mberman84

@John Cressman yes John, I have obsidian installed on the instance, and Syncthing that puts everything in 2 copies on 2 different repos... this doesn't justify openclaw behavior though ;-) bad brat... keep 2 eyes peeled on it and don't let him not supervised. that's it.

@Christo Roberts the cost problem is quite common, I had it with every bot tested. Agent-0 probably worse than my wife, managed to spend $15 in 35 mins (i'd be happy to run away with only $15 in 35 mins with my wife credit card though lol), stuck on an error loop. He was keep saying, Found the problem!! writing python code to fix it (5k lines each time), here it is fixed.... can't write to Db... Ok, Found the problem, going to write some python code to fix it... and so on... I was having a shower, fortunately I always put $$ limits on my API keys on openrouter so it had to stop. I have yet another Openclaw looking after my homelab, he's ok, does 2 or 3 tasks, and does them very well. The one that went nuts was used for different projects, went well until I launched.a /new session, from that moment was like he got bitten by a coral snake and forgot everything. as written to @John Cressman i was organised with copies, I always play covered.
