Athletes, Coaches, and Parents, I wanted to provide a quick update as we approach USAPM’s first competition of the 2027 season, currently scheduled for November 14, 2026. This event will also begin the selection process for Senior athletes seeking to qualify for the 2027 Pan American Games. We are currently finalizing the location for the November event and hope to have it confirmed within the next several days. In the meantime, we wanted to share the following information to help athletes and families begin planning. The November competition will be Senior Division only, with a minimum age of 15. There will be one competition division: Senior. Please review the 2027 Pan American Games Preliminary Selection Criteria Notice for additional information regarding the PAG selection process and eligibility requirements. USAPM will conduct three International Ranking Competitions during the 2027 season: - November 2026 - December 2026 - January 2027 An athlete’s best two scores from these three competitions will be used to establish the USAPM International Ranking Competition standings for the upcoming international season. Important: Points earned at these three domestic ranking competitions will not carry over into the Pan American Games Selection Ranking. The International Ranking Competition standings and the PAG Selection Ranking are separate processes. We will provide the confirmed location, registration information, schedule, and additional event details as soon as they are finalized. Dear Athletes, USAPM would like to provide advance notice of the first three Qualifier events that will be used to rank athletes for selection to the 2027 International Ranking Competitions used for PAG ranking and selection. USAPM is currently awaiting USOPC approval of the Pan American Games and Olympic Games Athlete Selection Procedures. While that approval process is ongoing, we want to provide athletes with the anticipated Qualifier dates as early as possible for training and competition planning.
