Week 1: Meeting Your Younger Self
Writing Prompt: Write a letter to your younger self introducing who you are today. Let them know you’ve come back for them. Description: This week establishes connection. Many people have never consciously “met” their younger self with compassion. This exercise builds emotional safety and begins the re-parenting process. Shadow Questions: 1. What version of me have I been avoiding acknowledging? 2. When did I first feel unseen or unheard? 3. What did I need most at that time that I didn’t receive? Associated Emotion: ➡️ Vulnerability Affirmations: • I am safe to meet myself with honesty and compassion. • I am willing to see and hold every part of who I was

Dear younger me always remember who you are hold tight to your compassion because adult life throws a lot of battles and it almost seem you’ve lost the time to be compassionate the man i am today is always chasing new heights the man I am today is working over time to out shine his past the man I am today Is a father of a 5 year old and knows deep inside he’ll do whatever for this little boy the man I am is different from two years ago the man I am today is different from yesterday I’m always growing refusing to back track the man today is so proud of the little boy I was because that’s what brought me back from a dark dark place when I look into little Ky’Rell eyes I see the same eagerness to learn that I seen in mines as a kid the same compassion and that brings me so much joy the boy I was is helping the man I’m becoming
